After unlocking NG+ I can definitely say that everything about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is just masterpiece. The story, the narrative, the voice acting, the world design, even the cutscenes, and don't forget the soundtracks, bruh it slapped me so hard I had to sit in silence for 10 minutes in every boss fight, questioning HOW DARE A SOUNDTRACK BE THIS GOOD?! And then there’s the prologue, the prologue didn’t introduce the game, it THREW ME INTO A MOVIE SCALE MASTERPIECE. Every act feels like watching the best fantasy series of all time, except I got to play it.

The combat and QTEs? Addictive as hell. The animations are so clean. There’s definitely a learning curve, but once you nail the parry timing, you’ll feel like an untouchable god. If I had one complaint, it's the lack of a minimap and how the golden pathing sometimes fails in larger areas. As someone who loves exploring every corner, I got lost more often. But honestly? Sometimes getting lost in this world is a blessing because this game rewards you with upgrades and cosmetics that are not hidden behind a paywall like the good old days. No microtransactions, just pure loot.

Bruh, everything about this game is on another level! The gameplay? Super smooth and addictive. The visuals? Absolutely stunning—like every scene could be a wallpaper. The soundtrack? Pure magic. Every track perfectly matches the vibe, but the soundtrack inside the tavern in Martira? Gave me actual goosebumps the first time I heard it. It’s hauntingly beautiful and sets the mood so perfectly. The voice actors? Nailed it, every line feels alive.

And the story… oh my god, the story. It's just beautiful. Yes, it starts off a bit slow, but once it hooks you, you won’t be able to stop playing. It hits every note, there are moments that left me laughing, moments that pulled at my heartstrings, and moments that left me in awe.

For context, I come from the Persona series and could never quite get into Shin Megami Tensei it was just too hard for me, and I didn’t vibe with the story. But Metaphor? This game feels like the perfect combination of both, with its own unique spin. It’s got the heart and accessibility of Persona, the depth and challenge of SMT, and somehow manages to stand out as its own masterpiece.

Seriously, don’t miss this one. It’s worth every penny, even without a discount. But if you manage to snag it on sale? That’s perfection right there!

A solid 10/10! This game is so ridiculously good that I couldn't resist using the bug report feature for the first time. I'd happily report bugs again as my gesture of love just to shower Pocket Pair with appreciation and keep the improvement vibes rolling.
