Bugs be damned this game is so much fun. Hell, in my experience even the majority of the bugs are pretty enjoyable.

I'll recommend it, but only to people looking for something big, hardcore, who need a time- and maybe moneysink and don't want to bother anymore with other games.

I love this game. I've wanted to go out into space as long as I can remember. Playing this gets me as close as I think I'll ever get.

I play with a flightstick and throttle, and this game was a major influence on investing in VR for me too. Both help with immersion and the former really help with the ease of play. Which is not to say the game isn't enjoyable with a gamepad, I reckon most people play that way.

It's a tough game to get really into. The learning curve is steep and rewards can be low and slow. Over a thousand hours in and I'm still learning and haven't seen, done, or unlocked everything.

There's right now 38 ships available, only about a few of which can be considered completely worthless. I'd say 35 of the ships, from the brilliant starting Sidewinder to the overly luxurious juggernaut that is the Imperial Cutter have their uses.

If you're looking into this game to see if it's anything for you it's likely you'll find rants about the devs and their mismanagement of the game's continued development. I won't claim that they haven't dropped the ball, many times even. But the core of this game still stands and it stands well. Whether you want to peacefully trade, fight other spaceships or just, like me, take to the skies and see interesting, beautiful things, it can be done and it will be enjoyable.

It will, however, be a grind. Whatever you do in this game, it will take effort and time. This isn't a bad thing for a simulator, but it has to be your cup of tea. It certainly is mine.

Well, this is weird. But fun. And well worth buying as a Daily Deal. Basically you're plugging connectors in outlets, in all kinds of forms.

It's almost fatally simple, but it will make you feel things. I know I've finished this and probably seen pretty much the all of it, but I will definitely play it through again sometime.
