There once was a man and
his name was George.
He traveled with another man
who seemed to be quite large.

That large man had a name
and his name was Lennie
Both were so poor
they didn't own a penny

Back in weed,
Lennie did a bad deed.
Even though he meant no harm,
they ran to another farm.

First man they met on
the other farm was Candy,
Then the boss, then his
son Curley, he was handy.

Lennie petting anything
soft was his favorite habit
Most of all, Lennie just
wanted to tend the rabbit.

Most things Lennie pets,
he usually ends their life.

First the mouse,
second the pup,
and then the wife.

Only real reason she died
was cause of steinbeck,
Her real cause of death was
cause of a snapped neck.

She was the harlot
out of the bunch,
She slacked as others
worked 50 for a month.

Lennie decided after
killing her, he would run,
But before he did that he
went and stole Carlson's gun.

5 minutes later,
the search begun.
Then Geroge decided that
Lennie's life should be done.

Curley threw, Lennie caught,
now its crushed on the right.
If you don't get it then I'll tell ya,
they got in a fight.

Why Curley why did you
have to make such a scene?
Now you have to tell everyone
it was caught in a machine!

Hopefully you don't
think this next part is lame.
I'm going to try to play
something called the name game!

Way way back
in the 1930 era,
There was a woman who's
name was Aunt Clara

Aunt Clara had a
nephew and he was called,
A big big boy who
went by Lennie Small.

Another man came but no
one knows where he's been
He is a man that goes by
George Milton

Old guy named Candy

Curley, he was handy.

Don't forget Slim,

And also Carlson!

Also there was Whit,

He was pretty lit!

Finally we got Crooks,

Reading all his books.

Everytime white
men pass the stable buck,
They mutter under their
breath secretly, "yuck."

You got to feel bad
for african americans
Back when there used
to be segregation.

Before the book,

Of Mice and Men,

Lennie and George,

Did it again
and again.

They would go,

From job to job.

George trying,

His hardest
not to sob.

At first in this situation
he was really mad,
then after the trigger
pulled he was really sad.

Think about it, your best
friend is now just gone,
You 2 were strong together,
the brain and the brawn!
