What a hidden gem!

The difficulty spikes at the boss fights are insane, tho! XD

If you aren't a masochist but wanna be able to finish the game and know the story of the game by yourself, I recommend to use ini-tweak to make it a bit easier when necessary.

If it's an amateur hobby project and you can play it for free on Steam, I would write: it's great in it's own category.

But for something you put on a price tag and asking someone to spend on it... In this state I can' really recommend.

The basic concept of the game while simple, works. Like no crash to desktop, etc.
But for example, the navigation in the menu is really weird with keyboard + mouse and for a PC game it's a big no no, at least for me. And even if I able to navigate (after couple of tries) in the setting menu for example, the slider does absolutely NOTHING! :D Like you wanna slide down/up the volume of the music? Sure, you can do that, you move the slide but actually nothing happens, you still have exactly the same volume.
More weird (a bug?) in the menu, when you go to the items section. You can press TAB too for that anyway. So, the thing is with that, you can pick up various items (mushrooms, cans, fish, apples, etc.) while you have you daily adventure to survive and you can add for that day to your inventory. BUT when you actually wanna use them, not possible. Game shows, press left mouse button when you want to use an item from your inventory. BUT NOTHING happens if you do that, you select an item from your inventory, press left mouse button and absolutely nothing happens. IF you press the right mouse button, the throwing option actually works, and that item is not available anymore in your inventory. Anyway, why is the throwing/dropping option for the inventory? Every next day my inventory is again empty, like I collected nothing a day before... Or perhaps, it's a bug again? And why is my cursor seen on my screen during my gameplay? At least, English text is OK in the game but actually not much to read anyway.

Like I wrote at the beginning, it's an OK game long as you don't have to pay for it. But if you really want to buy it, I would recommend to do only on a 90% OFF sale in it's current state... Game is OK but that just not that OK.
Because you can get on Steam far better quality of PC Games for £10 or even for FREE. But, that's just my 2 cents about this game.

Gosh, another couple of hundreds of hours will be well spent! XD :D

Just like the Terminator game from this very same devs., this one is too a very cool video game adaptation, inspired by the original movies

After nearly 400 hrs. of gameplay I can tell... It's OK, I guess, with 100+ mods + tweaks installed. :D

Seriously, a far cry from BG3 and C2077 DLC in Action-RPG category in 2023 or even from their own previous bestsellers like SKYRIM (TES V from 2011-11-11!) and definitely NO WAY this Starfield won the "most innovative gameplay" award on Steam for 2023 but whatever, we the players has the last words always! ;D :-)))


What else can I tell you about Starfield in a nutshell without spoilers... The LORE of the world actually has some depth, and have some cool factions, and many well written characters makes Starfield actually a not too bad Action-RPG experience... BUT ONLY WITH MODS/modifications by the community!
Some parts of the vanilla game (OST, overall graphics, some gameplay mechanism) just looks/feels stale/uninspired/cheap or/and getting old/dated but on PC luckily with the help of hundreds of tweaks and mods it's not impossible to fix it/improve it BUT THAT'S SHOULD NOT BE THE STANDARD for any industry/business, BETHESDA should STOP rely always on the modding community to fix and tweak their half baked (and now even kinda dated) games and at the same time Bethesda still asking for the full AAA price for their new games.

The original image (colour tone, contrast, etc.) wasn't for my taste but that was easy to fix. Can be used a reshade mod filter to do so OR/AND GeForce Experience filters can be added too. Most vanilla OST I listened almost put me into sleep instead of wanna inspire me to play the game, but for example voice-over is great as always in Bethesda games. Main story at the beginning also interesting, but the best so far some random side missions, plus the stories of different factions and character creation is decent too. Haven't really noticed bugs, but original UI + HUD while works, to be honest wasn't for my taste either, luckily modding community already made a solution for that too for a better inventory UI for example. :)

The enemies in the game (humanoid and creatures, animals too) are laughable even on hardest difficulty BUT AGAIN, with tweaks and mods for example the humanoid enemies can grow some brain and can use better covers, and more often grenades, etc.

Using SSD, 32 GB RAM, i7-10700K, + a 4070 GPU, run nicely. LIVE gameplay video on our FB page.

LAST WORDS, my final verdict about Starfield: While I am a fanatic of Story-driven Action-RPGames, I can't really recommend on full price Starfield to anyone, end of story.

I would change my feedback to "informal" but since only 2 options are here: recommend/do not recommend, I chose the latter one

Sh*t can happen really quickly, troubles are escalate really fast, so it's a challenging game but also a really good one, has the proper vibe for a Aliens game, I enjoy to play every moments of it!!! :)

A real gem for HP fans. :)

That's a freaking amazing remake, yay! :)

I have got a copy (well, Steam key) by the devs., haven't got time to play much yet but looks pretty decent, plus apparently they are listening to their players and updates are coming frequently to further enhance the game. It's already pretty atmospheric, fun to play just need a little polishing yet at a few rough edges.
