I played it a decent chunk, had fun to be honest. The main appeal to me is that you can dodge all attacks and I like that I never felt lost when doing quests as it points the way (though you can turn this off). It has pretty much everything you'd want to expect from a modern MMORPG like mounts, dungeon finder, arena, weekly/dailys quests etc, fast travel, events. It doesn't feel regressive. I got my moneys worth since I bought the big edition but I did quit at level 33.

Starseeds is the major issue with the game. It's a premium currency that the player marketplace uses instead of Gold. You can buy really good gear very early for Starseeds that people are selling. This has bred an army of bots who sell Starseeds at a far better conversion than the official store does. In response to the bots the devs have changed the game to try to curve them at the cost of the player experience.

If you don't mind this Starseed system then you might enjoy the game but ultimately the hardest challenges in the game require a high gear score and groups tend to require high levels of gear so you can spend days of your life grinding gear you need to join these groups (drop rates terrible) or just credit card some Starseeds in 5 mins and get what you need to enjoy the game.
