I have a mid ranged desktop (i5 10400F 3060ti 48gb ram, ssd, and latest gpu drivers) and the game is just not at a performance level it should be right now, the game itself is fun; it is more challenging than 4, its open world, better dialogue from what i could tell, but you will need to use some sort of DLSS and probably a frame gen option as well at the same time, and this caused me to have some audio issues (lot of audio pop in and out when moving around into new areas) so as of now this game just needs more patches likely, if you can play and not have those audio issues then it can be played totally fine if you don't mind DLSS and framegen like me but can't recommend right now

Game is really great, its stalker for sure. Exploration is fun, doing quests is pretty engaging and rewarding as you can go right back to a safe zone and stock up on stuff, but as its pretty obvious the game doesn't really run that great. It's fine when you are out in the Zone doing stuff with DLSS and Frame Gen, but often when in a safe zone (the first town, which really isnt even that big), my game will go from normal to a stuttery mess until I pause the game and wait it out. If you are really sensitive to FPS or even just have a lower end system, I suggest waiting for some patches, every stalker game ran poorly at launch.
For reference, my specs are:
I5 10400F (4ghz)
48gb ram (game doesnt really use alot so not needed)
Rtx 3060ti
Not an insane setup by nothing to sleep on either.
