While the game seems very interesting, for me it is completely unplayable in online at the moment - the main reason I bought it. Granted, the online feature is only BETA, but that was not stated anywhere when I actually bought the game. In addition, it is quite unacceptable that a game that uses simple 2D graphics works as poorly as this, with high lag and long loading times. I hope the problems are fixed, but right now it feels like I bought an early access game, despite the fact that it was sold to me as a finished product.

One of the best civilization building strategy games I've played. It's reminiscient of Civ V, but in my opinion, it improves on the concept in more than one aspect. I seriously recommend it.

To my great surprise, this was an excellent game. It's mostly well written, it has all the bits and pieces of old RPG's that I like and it presents a new, interesting world. It's challenging at times and isn't strictly black and white. While I took part in the Kickstarter campaign, I honstly didn't have high hopes for this, but Pillars of Eternity has turned out to be the best kickstarted game yet.
