Not the greatest CiV game I have played. Not being able to stack units and the hexa-tiles sure makes things different from the previous games. You have to love CiV to look past the flaws to enjoy all the beauty that is this game.

Truly a fun sidescrolling platformer.
The wild and colorful world, art and music paired with a healthy dose of stereotype humour got me instantly hooked.

Grabbed this game for an extremely low price during the sale and would recommend anyone to give it a go.

This is a game for us stealth and sneak fans.
Mixing sneaking and assassination with conventional weaponry with magics is refreshing and fun.
What I do find dissapointing is how the game encourages you not to kill when killing is the most fun part of the game. This adds a certain "replay value" to the game since the aggresive path and choices you take will conclude with a different ending than a passive play.

What I do like:

- Stealth and Assassination
- Magics
- Steampunk world

What dissapoints me:

- The story
- DIscouragement to kill
- Lack of cgi scenes

I've spend countless hours on the NES in my childhood.
This remake sparks every bit of the frustration, determination and fun I could recall from my experience with the original game.

The new remastered version truly lives up to the original.
