Absolutely one of the best co-op experiences you can have. Still a blast to play today, and like other co-op games, it's even better with friends.

This is a hesitant recommendation. I found this game to be hilariously funny, very easy on the eyes, with some great gunplay and music, but I also found it ENORMOUSLY frustrating. The endless cheap deaths royally pissed me off, to the point that I quit playing with about 10% of the game to go, and only under a friend's encouragement did I finally beat the game. And I haven't played it since.

Payday 2 was great! Then they introduced microtransactions, literally $2.49 for a random weapon skin that MIGHT include a stat boost, and my appreciation for the game nosedived. But I recently got back into it again, and now you just automatically get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dropped (only once a week, and only if you play more than a set number of hours) and you get free stat boosts dropped that you can attach to any weapon you want. Good on ya, Overkill - way to fix what 505 Games tried to break.

I love this whole series - of all the games from the last generation, I've probably spent the most time chronicling the exploits of Commander Shepard and her ragtag team of mercenaries saving lives across the galaxy.

This game is a gift to gamers who enjoy exploring and being a badass. You will do PLENTY of both. I'm 100 hours in, and I feel like I haven't even really scratched the surface of what there is to see and do in this game.

This walks the line for me, but I'm somewhat reluctantly coming down on the side of not making a recommendation. It's a pretty good action game that looks pretty, the controls are FINALLY excellent, it has a solid length to it, the AI is improved (a bit) from RE5, and most of the game can be played in co-op. But this is not a horror game. There's nothing scary in it. At all. You'd think that would be necessary for a Resident Evil game, but Capcom unwisely disagrees. This doesn't even feel like a Resident Evil game most of the time. The plot is the worst nonsense this side of a Jill sandwich, and while it does have some replayability, I find I don't really want to play it again. There's nothing even resembling a puzzle. The music is probably the best in the series, to be honest, but that's not enough to save it.

But the reason I can't recommend this game is that it has Quick-Time Events. Screw QTE's. They ruin games for me, and you can add Resident Evil 6 to that pile.

This was so-so for me, but it's got two rather glaring problems that keep me from recommending it. First, some of the things you need to interact with are very small and/or obscured. In fact, I got stuck in the first five minutes because the thing you need to find is tiny and in a very dark room. Were this a 2D game, I'd call it pixel-hunting. And second, this game is SHORT. I finished it in two and a half hours, and 30 minutes of that was spent pixel-hunting.

To be fair, It does some things VERY well, it's got fantastic atmosphere, and the puzzles are clever and fit into the world perfectly. But this game is not worth the purchase price in my opinion.

The Last Tinker is a gorgeous, harmless romp of a game with lots of charm, but this may be a game best suited for children old enough not to re-enact Koru’s fighting moves on their siblings. I found the game very easy (except for the rail segments) and between the lack of a challenge or a gripping storyline, I had difficulty staying engaged to the end. However, this would likely be a fantastic game for parents to play with their children, and as such, it gets a solid recommendation from me.

This is the funniest game I've played since Portal 2, and the most entertaining game I've played this year. Tesla Effect is excellent, a fantastic return-to-form for FMV games, and a glorious adventure filled with twists, turns, and surprises.

Finally got around to playing this, and I don't know what took me so long. This is brilliant. Batman as he always should have been. The game plays out like a 3D Metroidvania, rewarding exploration with tons of secrets to find, most of which you won't be able to get until Batman gets new abilities. The fighting system is fun and fairly intuitive, but the stealth mechanics are my favorite - the experience of being Batman has never come more alive than when I stalked my enemies from the shadows. The music never really spoke to me, but the art and presentation is excellent. The acting is exceptional on all sides, but Mark Hamill's Joker steals the show - as he should.

BEST PART - Picking off a group of thugs one by one while they have no idea where I am, and the baddies left standing get more and more terrified.
