This is a 10/10 game from me, another Atlus big W

This is a culmination of all the experience the team had with both persona series and shin megami tensei series. Mixing both mechanic while keeping the door open to newcomer with tons of quality of life changes with the more easier follower system and archetype inherit system, while it can get overwhelming at times, it is a breeze if you've experienced their other games before.

The music ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slaps if you ask me, while it is a depart from jazzy or even more tech and fun music they had in persona series, the sound design in this game are just *chef kiss* and perfectly fits the universe they're trying to make.

Combat are surprisingly fun with the return of the press turn system, mistake and experimentation can be done with the rewind system making it more forgiving in my opinion. Lets talk about difficulty, hard mode is HARD MODE, I was genuinely surprised at the difficulty after getting your first archetype, it is actually harder than their most recent game Persona 3 Reload, it is a welcome change especially for those who are looking for challenging combats and mind boggling damage and high risk losing your turn to a simple crit from the enemies.

While there's no romance system like in persona series, the character are very diverse and interesting, the world they build shape the person within, and in my opinion its the perfect recipe for good story telling and character building. And it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shows.

Overall a solid game even I could say that this game is absolute cinema and GOTY contender for sure even with the outdated game engine. Good for those new and old to the JRPG genre and Atlus game, for those who played Persona and SMT series, this game is a must play!

This is how you make a proper AAAA game Ubisoft, better learn from this game.
