After the success of Netflix The Witcher (except Triss and Yennefer) and The Witcher 3 breaks 100K concurrent players on Steam for the first time.(According to Steam Charts, its peak concurrent player count in May 2015 was an impressive 92,268.)
Resentment between the Andrzej Sapkowski and CD Projekt Red finaly ended. They announced the new agreement in December. So we all know Witcher Series will continue.

The Beginning of The Story

The story begins exactly where the book ends. A group of Witchers somehow find the unconscious Geralt in the field and take him to Witcher castle Kaer Morhen. Geralt almost never remembers anything about his life before that point. The fortress is attacked by a gang of thugs named Salamandra. Witchers and Mage Triss Merigold fight invaders,
but Azar Jarved and Assassin Professor escape with mutagenic potions that genetically alter the Witchers. Witchers change their way in different directions to gather information about Salamandra.Geralt heads south to Vizima, the capital city of Temeria and where King Foltest reigns. In the wards, he encounters a magically equipped boy named Alvin, and his old friend, Shani, which he does not remember...

My Thoughts on The Game

I finished The Witcher Enchanced Edition and I can say that the story is decent I mean its their first game so story isnt told as professionaly as the other games, If you wanna see the whole story of Geralt have a try. The combat is clumsy and old but dialogues and the characters you know from the third game ( Shani, Zoltan, Vesemir, Triss, Lady Of The Lake etc... ) will satisfy you.
