After finishing full 2 playthroughs, I can honestly recommend this game.

This is probably the best JA game.

Mercs are detailed, unique and funny. Map is great and rewards exploring.
I really like the writing and the quest design.
Weapon mod system is very nice.
Combat system is the deepest of any JA games released so far.

I think the game interface needs improvement in some places, like inventory management. But those are coming, devs already posted a roadmap for the game.

This is clearly a 'labour of love' type game, without the BS that modern games have.
No forced online, lootboxes, season passes, grindy unlocks or greedy DLC.

Highly recommended.

This is the only DLC for Legends that shows that CM actually TRIED.

It has the most story mode races, cutscenes and in-race dialogue out of all DLCs.
The story is actually not bad, picturing the history of Ravenwest (and GRID games also), Ryan and Nathan are fun to watch.
The individual races in story mode have their unique mechanical quirks and even different visuals, mimicking the older GRID games.

The 4 cars include 3 classic muscle cars and a Group 5 car, which feels less disjointed that the previous DLC. None of the cars is a real power in their own class though, they won't help you win those toughest in-game races. Still, they look and sound really nice.

The 'new' track is a returning track from GRID 2 - Miami, which is nice, because we didn't see this one for a while. And we'll probably never see it again. It has multiple layouts and weather/time of day options, so it's a great improvement over the original.

AND THEY DIDN'T FORCE YOU TO DRIVE STADIUM TRUCKS THIS TIME!!!!111

There are some minor issues here and there. Like, they added oldschool Ravenwest liveries for the cars you race in the story mode... and then they made it impossible to use those liveries on your cars outside those specific story races... why? Because CM. Don't expect anything to make sense in their games.

I think this (and previous) DLC is the high point of this game. I recommend it.
Just wait for a nice discount, as none of the Legends product deserve a full price, unfortunately.

OK, the 2nd DLC for Legends actually adds some viable content.

We get a proper new track, never featured in Grid games - Fuji Speedway. And it even comes with alternate layout, so that's something new for me. With how the cars handle in Legends, Fuji is a really fast track, and fits the rest of the DLC.

The new endurance mode is just a proper multiclass, unlike the vanilla multiclass that is already in the base game. You can use it for some really crazy races with lots of different cars in 4 different classes.

Story mode, achievements and new sponsor objectives are way better than DLC1 gave you.
New cars are a mixed bag. Only 4 of them, 3 related to endurance racing and the last one is a... kei car, that makes absolutely no sense for endurance DLC. At least it's pretty unique and fun to drive, but with no other kei cars present in the game, it can only race with other AZ-1s.

And they somehow put stadium trucks in their endurance story mode... that kinda shows what the devs thought is 'fun' for this game. I think if they released F1 themed DLC, they would also force you to drive stadium trucks. Because they jumpppp and it's so cooool woooo.

Grid Legends would be a way better game if Codemasters actually released more content like this, but unfortunately, they thought that crashes and drifts were the way to go.
And if you played Project Cars 3, you'll quickly notice that the track and the cars were just ported from PC3, except for the AZ-1.

Nevertheless, this one is a very good DLC and I recommend it.

Terrible design, terrible execution.

DLC centered on Manzi, who is the Jar-Jar of Grid Legends, that's the first warning.

Devs knew, that their game has very poor crash physics and car damage model... so they decide to make a DLC about crashes and car damage. They even add 5 cars recycled from older CM games, none of them being a licensed car... and still, crashing feels and looks terrible.

Story mode gives you very annoying and grindy objectives to complete. New achievements and sponsor objectives are even worse. You'll be forced to drive those new cars around those 'tracks' for HOURS. New cars feel terrible to drive, and crashing into someone is actually counter-productive, because you win by being the fastest anyway.

You should be getting 'points' for crashing into others and 'kills' for totalling them. You will rantomly NOT GET those things, forcing you to replay whole missions. If you're just playing those demo events as a custom event, just ignore everything and everyone and just try to race fast, as the crashing will give you nothing. If a big pileup blocks your way, just open the menu, click on 'reset vehicle' and your car will become incorporeal, allowing you to drive through the pileup - brilliant design!

You won't be able to use the contents of this DLC anywhere in the game, except for dedicated demo derby events. So if you're not planning to do those awful events, you'll get nothing from that DLC, except for few paint schemes.

Whoever decided to put money and resources into creating this DLC, should definitely look for a different line of work. This game really needed some help, and releasing this as the 1st DLC just made it worse.

Stay away from this one, unless you're really drunk.

When it comes to game mechanics, this is the best KR game.
New tower system is interesting, and the tower and hero variety is very good.
Audiovisuals - same as in previous KR games, you could say that they are reskins of each other... fortunately, not in the gameplay.

If you wanted to try only one KR game, you can't go wrong with Vengeance.
If you played all the previous ones, then it's still worth checking, because of the new tower system. And you can have a battle tank as your hero, so...

Great RPG/card game.

I really like the artstyle and character design.

Battle mechanics are very solid and allow lots of customization - you can customize your team lineup, their items and the decks.

The only minor gripe is the interface, which was not really designed for keyboard & mouse users. Obtaining information about status effects and other minor details is clunky on m&k, but it's not a big deal.

Highly recommended, 9/10, probably the best game out of Steamworld series.

If you're looking for a simcade racer that plays well on a controller, this is it.

Controller handling is SUPERB in this game. Pushing different cars to the very limit is extremally satisfying here.

Ignore the hate, most of the negative comments are useless anyway, criticizing unimportant things like menu graphics (who the hell cares?), or saying stuff like 'just play PC2'. PC2 was a buggy mess, compared to PC3, and it was barely playable on a controller. Most of the PC2 physics and car mechanics is still present here, in a streamlined, more usable form.

Track and car selection is very good. Rivals mode (daily/weekly/monthly challenges) is alive and well, so you can compete against other drivers in hotlap or pacesetter challenges.

Multiplayer is also not dead, you can easily find people to race with, at least in EU.

I recommend to get this one on a sale, with all DLCs - extra cars and events are really nice.

A proper simcade game.

Driving model is decent, best of all GRID games. Car with different engine layouts actually feel different.
Gamepad support is very good.

Cars in their classes are usually nicely balanced, very few outliers here and there.

AI is actually quite capable and pretty consistent, though close racing is not really possible - AI drivers tend to ruthlessly smash you into a wall. The 'Nemesis' system does not bring anything to the game really, though sometimes it's really funny to watch Nemesis drivers try to murder you and fail.

Single player is pretty basic, but it's still better than GRID 2 and Autosport.

DLC integration is not that good, you can't drive new cars in the old events.
You don't need DLC to drive on new tracks which is nice. Also, every new category introduced in DLC has a free car, available for everyone, so you can participate in all multiplayer events with no DLC bought.

The real issue with this game is the lack of content. The game has less cars and tracks than GRID 2 and Autosport and does not have RACENET challenges, so there's not much to do, after you finish your singleplayer events.

Multiplayer is fun, but you'll need friends for that, as the playerbase is almost extinct.

Buy it on a sale, especially when you have friends for multiplayer racing.

Less clean visuals than the first one, game mechanics are better though.
Game is very long, lots of areas to beat and it does not require perfect scores, ever.

Recommended with any type of controller.

Not that bad actually, you get to shoot down bombers and ambush Nazi deathsquads.
Get it if you have friends to play with.
