If your HOA ever tells you you aren’t allowed to put something on your lawn, tell them you will instead apply for an FCC subsidy and use that space to put up a 40 ft AM radio mast. If they try to do anything to stop you from doing so they’ve committed several felonies and you can threaten report them to the FCC, which is more than willing to sue or even threaten legal dissolution of any entity that interferes with the installation of radio infrastructure. Essentially let them know that the alternative to anything you want to put in your yard that they don’t like is a radio tower
