I've played for waaaaaaay longer time than shown, and this is what I have to say (quick points, bad things, good things, and finally, honest opinion. Also, english is not my first language, so sorry if there are mistakes):

Quick points:
The game is more fun if you play with friends as you could expect.
Toxicity exists as in many other games.
There are many different game modes that you can play and even if you use the same characters the experience will probably be very different from game to game, game mode to game mode.

Bad things: some game modes become very stagnant and unnecessarily long.
The servers sometimes become unstable and laggy, some bugs have a loooong time in game like starting the game itself and have it freeze in the loading screen. Also, matchmaking feels random at times.
This kind of things make the game feel as if it was still in beta after this many years...
Depending on the game modes, some characters feel very unfair and frustrating to play against.
Solo queue can get a bit frustrating due to trolls and smurfs if you are new to the game.

Good things: the community is nice and the content creators help make the game better via direct collaboration with the developers.
The developers keep in touch constantly with the community in general to receive feedback and constantly try to balance the game and make it a more enjoyable experience.
The mechanics in many characters are interesting and the different combos you can make are only limited by your imagination.
When you get good knowledge of the gods and learn to play with and against them, the experience gets greatly better.
Snowball exists as in many games but comeback potential normally exists (ofc up to some point) and those games really hype you up.
You don't really need to put a single penny in the game. Playing unlocks characters and the game rewards your "loyalty" to it with in game currency in daily rewards and challenges.

Overall, I really enjoy this game, even though it got to the point where I only play it with my friends.

Maybe I overlook some things as experiences vary from person to person, but I tried to be as objective as possible. Please do share your own opinions and insights in the comments, thank you for reading!
