I used to be able to say that this was my favorite game. In it's current state, it is unplayable due to bots and cheaters. Valve has neglected this problem to the point where something like 100 bots are able to cripple the casual community, not to mention the 10s of thousands of bots inflating the player count. VAC is not sufficient, there are not enough resources dedicated to keeping the game healthy, and as it is, I could not recommend it to anyone. Valve is notoriously tight-lipped, but their continued silence on the bot issue tells me they are unwilling or unable to fix it. This is the legacy of TF2 now, and it sucks on ice.

Loved the aesthetic and ambiance of this game. I definitely would like to replay it again since I've learned the mechanics so I can make a network truly worthy of a good performance review. It can be a little confusing at times, but it is rewarding once it clicks.

Honestly, I think I will be chasing the TMS dragon the rest of my life. I long for the early days where I would wait outside the stall for a customer to leave so that I could flush for them. Sure, sometimes they'd clog it, but it added bits of variety throughout the routine. The climax of the game was when Jake (yeah, I named them) came in one day and I was trying to clean it up before he sat down, but I guess he didn't see me and came in anyway. It was an awkward moment, but apparently it bothered Jake so much that he froze in stasis for days just staring at the stall. The thing is... "Jake" was still coming in... but it was like he didn't see the other version... only I could. I devised a plan where I could "realign" the Jakes, and it worked! My life had purpose, and I was doing good things for people. I was managing a toilet, but I also felt like a bit of a spiritual leader for these people as well.

At first, I thought upgrading the toilets would make my customers' experience better and my life easier, and while they are objectively better, it feels like something is missing. I feel like a pet who lost their owner, checking back in on the stalls hoping to flush or clean them, but that day never came. My days in TMS are unfulfilling now - I bought everything that the shop sells, and sure, I can eat beans and hire dancers to come over... but there is nothing on the line anymore. Yeah, I could downgrade it... but I end up just hiring a maid and plumber every day to take care of it. I don't even bother with the air freshener anymore, as the bathroom gets plenty of revenue from my EXTREMELY loyal customer base.

It just goes to show, that success does not equal happiness.

This game is just really good. I keep coming back to it, in part due to the regular updates it got, but also due to the fact that there's so much replay value. So many things to unlock, and it never really felt like a grind to me. Just a nice linear progression. One of my favorite games!

I haven't had my mind blown just by looking at a video game in years, but Alyx on the index did it every time I played. Truly one of the few 10/10 experiences for me. They did a great job of giving you multiple movement options if you get "VR sick" like me, so don't let that dissuade you. If you could play Super Hot or Beat Saber, then Alyx will be fine too. I think this game solidified how good and immersive VR gaming can be.

Such a great game and series. Soundtrack makes this game so immersive. It's challenging in a way that is not frustrating, and the story is very sweet. Would definitely recommend if you like challenging 2D platformers. A variety of ways to play, well worth the cost and more. 10/10

This is a seriously awesome game with tons of potential. It's much deeper than meets the eye, and it already seem deep at first glance! Very cool game, and looking forward to how it develops. Despite being in early access, I would still recommend playing it.
