Long Dark is a unique game. It is a steady paced survival sandbox that forces you to manage your time and resources well. I have tried many other newer survival games and always come back to this game. Even though I always hang around a couple of areas in the world, I find roaming around, managing my vitals and struggling with the environment to be very rewarding.

There will be times where you have to make difficult decisions to drop items because of the weight just so you can explore. It's these game mechanics that makes this game fun.

If you are looking for an intimate survival game, then this is the game for you.

The first VR game that scared the living crap out of me. Very immersive.

I really enjoy this game. I enjoy the flying fireman mode. When I play it, I could think of how there could be a game mode where you fly around with one hand and the other hand a laser gun, shooting down alien invading the city

Well I didn't really read much about this game before I bought it.

It was a good game, though there is an illusion of free roaming as there is absolutely nothing to do in the game but to follow the objective. There are obvious areas where a normal human would be able to get across but you can't in the game, which I am assuming is to keep the players on a certain path.

I expected something along the lines of The Long Dark, but instead got a beautiful, scenic game that feels a bit empty aside from the narration and key points to the game. For some reason the scenery got old real quick and I find myself running through most of the areas
