TLDR: Nothing soulslike, no challenge, boring, lots of unnecessary drama, poor plot. Could have been really good, but it's not, don't waste your time and money. In fact it's so bad that it made me write my first ever review on steam.

As many of people here I'm a Souls series fan and was attracted by "soulslike" in the description, fairly good reviews. I've tried playing the demo and it was okeyish, so I went for it. Biggest mistake of my life, refund window has already expired, so here I'm.
About the game:
PROS:
-looks ok
CONS:
-post apocalyptic world, yet every character looks like it just walked out from a fashion boutique
-every character is a drama queen. no DRAMA QUEEN. Drama everywhere. As if I'm back at school reading russian classic literature where every character's mission is to suffer with no rhyme or reason.
-game is made of cutscenes, prepare to spend roughly equal amount of time playing and waiting for cutscenes to load. And if you are a cutscene watching type, like I'm, then it's about 2 parts cutscenes/1 part actually playing.
-Did I already mention DRAMA?
-Nothing soulslike about the gameplay. Sure, fireplace and currency systems were copied. That's about it. Enemies pose no threat, every boss I killed so far died on my 1st attempt (and to my estimate I've beaten roughly 70% of the game more or less. Playing solo, no coop, no NPC allies etc). Biggest threat is awful controls(now that's soulslike)
-Gigantic locations. And it wouldn't be a bad thing, but the location progression is linear. So get ready to spend loads of time grinding boring enemies, searching for routes, that is hidden from plain sight, finding some mechanism that opens something that was hidden in the hidden route behind a mount of boring enemies, rinse and repeat, couple of hours and location is done.
-Everything you do requires the same currency, leveling up, upgrading equipment, skills, whatever. And it would be fine if you had to actually save up to get something. You don't. You are the richest man alive and can afford anything right from the start.
So there you have it. Don't bother.
