It's wonderfully relaxing to play a game where you're turning a wilderness into a paradise, rather than vice versa.

Simply beautiful walking adventure-mystery-drama game. You can probably play it through in an evening, though I took my time with it and spent about 12 hours on my first play-through. I'm looking forward to another play-through this weekend — see where the different conversation options take me, explore around a little more, rather than following the plot-path so closely.

The dialogue is very well written, with Henry (the player-character) and Delilah (Henry's boss, who you speak with over the radio) being well thought-through human personalities who entertain with wit — and a few amusingly-rubbish dad-jokes. And if you enjoy the game as much as I have, the Campo Santo blog has downloadable wallpapers and some beautiful images in their press packs.

I've read a few pieces, since completing the game (beware of plot spoilers if you haven't done!), that criticise the plot some — fairly, I think. But even with those questions retrospectively in my head, I've still really enjoyed the game and I'm still looking to spend more time in Shoshone.

Apparently I really enjoy hiking, when I can do it from the comfort of my own sofa.
