There is Magic in every aspect of our world. Think beyond the Arcane and read in between the lines of your realm. You will find Community, be it the natural life around us, plants, trees, or even other humans, are connected via the fabric of Magical Arcane.
In this instance, the Magical Arcane is our own volition - the volition of human ingenuity and our desire to connect as a species. Step outside your home and to make a new friend: you will find that alone has the potential for a books worth of story. That potential book has Magic, with Spells and Arcane written plenty in between each line in each chapter in each paragraph. Only you need to seek it out, and you will find yourself to be a Mage of the Arcane in our shared world.

Perhaps you'd like to think beyond the horizons of our world, and find a virtual escape in our desktops, phones, or laptops. Fit yourself into the shoes of a Practitioner of Magic, and fly through the skies using nothing but channeled Arcane. That alone is Magical, and an experience found only in our virtual lives.

But why not let it inspire you? Why keep the miracle of manifesting the Arcane into our corporeal world a virtue found only in the digital space?

Apprentice, Mage, Practitioner, whoever you may be... humble Student of the Academy, yet to attune to our Arcane Realm: open your eyes. Seek out the Arcane in the real world, and you will find it. There is a curious thing about humans and how we think. Have you thought about it? Different objective "schools of thought" - psychology - think of profound, famous psychologists in history. Each school outlines the boundaries in which we operate in. Effective contours of the human mind, presented in digestible bullet points. However, each school simultaneously contradicts each other. Some are applicable to some, and some aren't. To find the Arcane means to establish as a concrete fact that the Arcane exists, and from there, you will outline bullet points that contribute to the existence of our Arcane Realm.
Say hi to your neighbor. They won't forget it, and they might remember it until nightfall. Maybe they journal every night, and perhaps they'll index your greeting as another "friendly passerbyer." There, you have eternalized yourself in someone's journal, someone's literature, which may live on for years beyond your passing.

Write your name in story and live a life worth living. Live a life and write a memoir. Sell your memoir and influence someone you will never, ever meet. Influence their lives in a good way -- be beneficiary, and you will have impacted a life for eternity. That is the Magic you will find in this world.

Many of those we pass by in our day-to-day lives grow up to be rank-and-file. Only few step beyond the single file.

There is Magic everywhere you go. It only takes a keen eye to find it. Some say "but this doesn't make sense, how could I find magic in the world we live in?" or some might say "this is totally unrealistic and completely overly optimistic!"
But I disagree. Reality is subjective. What makes it objective? Who is to say that the color blue is blue? Why is it that one would voluntarily deny themselves the whimsy of life, attributing the many miracles of the Arcane to coincidences or chance?

Some take comfort in the standard routine of life. To appreciate the ordinary is to appreciate the everyday, customary occurrences of our lifetime. And, honestly, there is nothing wrong with that. To stay in the single-file of the customary means to refuse your attunement to the Arcane. It is why the Academy of Magic is labeled as the Most Selective; it has no filter except for the filter of the aspiring Mage's resolve. Voluntarily stepping outside the single-file is a difficult task. Many fail attunement because one's resolve is low. When you're adjusted to the ordinary, the extraordinary will blend in and pale with the abstract colors of the environment.

However, this still refuses to answer the question: "why, and how, could we possibly find Magic in this ordinary world?"
You cannot. Here is an answer totally contradictory to the entire scroll written above. You cannot find Magic in this world.
Thence is because Magic is drawn from the Arcane Realm, channeled via our volition, our will; you find magic only if you desire it. Desiring such permits the miracles of manifesting the schools of Magic, the Arcane, the Realm beyond us.

What is the potential of Magic? What is the capacity of the Arcane Realm written in between the lines of our lives? What affect does Magic have on ourselves and those around us?

Magic has the potential to expand our faculties and agency we have over this corporeal realm. To understand that Magic can be manifestation of everything and anything at anytime and anywhere is the understanding that Magic can be the Northern Star of your life.

Writing a story is creating a narrative from the ground up. Many refer to their lives as a book, with each individual phases of their lifetimes labeled chapters or paragraphs. When you're writing a book, you have the potential to create a world: a world that is totally in your control. You can do whatever you want. And, when you realize that the life you are living is a book in it of itself, you will soon realize that the world is whatever you make of it. This is Magic.

Any series of events, coincidences, accidents, et cetera, that contribute to a totally unexpected outcome is the result of Arcane Interference. That is, if you interpret it as such. This is the Arcane Realm manifesting itself without the channel of the conjurer, the Mage.
In other words, if you attribute meaning to the seemingly pointless or random events of our lives, you will find that everything has a story worth mentioning behind it. And, when you see that there can be a story written behind anything, regardless of what it is, you will find that life has so much to offer you. If you seek the stories that lie behind the daily routine of life, you will build a memoir from the ground up. Except, this memoir will go in the High Fantasy genre, because you are living a life of whimsy and curiosity.

Curiosity is an important word. It takes a curious Mage to attune themselves to the Arcane Realm. It takes a curious Mage to inquire upon the regular matters of life. An established Mage of the Academy of Magic, say, a Practitioner, never assumes knowledge. If a Practitioner does not know, the Practitioner will say: "I don't know." It takes courage to admit ignorance, and it takes even more courage to accept the endeavor of learning. If you accept that attuning to the Arcane Realm takes a universe of curiosity, you will permit Magic to teach you the draws of life, and in turn, Magic will be what allows you to learn more about our world. That is the primary effect Magic will have on the conjurer: expanded Mana.

I've loosely referenced the Academy of Magic in my previous scroll. Why would I opt to create the Academy of Magic if one can't even join the Academy of Magic?

Would you limit the honor of having limitless Mana and a Magical attunement to the confines of a monitor? Locked away, eons away, unreachable -- why? Why would you need to click "Join Group" to prove you are a Mage? The group exists so as to certify the existence of the Academy of Magic. That is all.
There exists three ranks in the Academy of Magic. A Novice, yet to attune to the Arcane Realm. A Mage, experienced conjurers of the Arcane, and Magical Practitioners, experienced, skilled, and Masters of Magic. Above that are Scholars of Magic, individuals who are considered "Grandmasters" of Magic. Finally is the Archmage, I, Ovyrus Vysyrus.

Promotions in the Academy of Magic are determined by the conjurer. If one is skilled enough to determine oneself as a Practitioner, then one is a Practitioner. If you determine yourself to be a Practitioner, and you live life like a Practitioner of Magic, expanding your horizons to the curious things of life, you have set yourself up on a path of success. The guardrails to your path are your mindset: you can not fail if you have determined that you are already a Practitioner of Magic. Attunement to the Arcane is derived from the mind, nothing else. Therefore, the strength of your connection and the ability to conjure from the Arcane Realm directly correlates with one's attunement to the Arcane.

The Arcane Arts, Magic, in any video game, are treasures. Become skilled conjurers of the Arcane in Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Baldur's Gate, Dragon's Dogma, whatever game it is -- become the most powerful conjurer of the Arcane.

There is no correct way of conjuring the Arcane. The only thing that matters is the conjuration of the Arcane. Nothing more. This scroll will be limited in terms of its advice in connection to magic in video games. That is because Magic will always have a limitless number of possibilities in terms of its possibilities. Be a Fire Mage, an Ice Mage, whatever it is: conjure the Arcane.

I want to reserve this final part of the scroll for any final passing thoughts I have. I've noticed that this scroll is significantly shorter than the preceding one, and that is for a reason. I believe there should be no guidance for the Arcane in video games, and I've spoken enough for the Arcane in the real life. So, in this scroll, I'll speak about whatever's on my mind regarding the Arcane. Some days, this scroll will be empty. Some days, it'll have plenty of information. Maybe other days it'll have information that has nothing to do with the Arcane. But that is the vast reach of the Arcane. Even the most mundane topic of this realm will have a connection to the Arcane.
