FPS number is too low, but I played original with 15 FPS, so it's not as bad, FSR or DLSS is mandatory basically.
There are plenty of bugs, like stuck stalkers, floating items, and floating stalkers, shadow and other visual glitches but nothing very critical. As with original bugs are expected and almost core part of the game, lol. Unless you play gamepass version like my friend and you have a power outage, then you might lose your saves like my friend did. Be aware.
Characters and quests are fairly interesting. So despite the issues game is enjoyable and I can safely recommend it if such games are your cup of tea and if your hardware can handle it with all the FSR-DLSS stuff, without it pretty much nothing can, even at 1080p.

The new UI/UX still atrocious, even after all updates, it even lags when you do anything – unacceptable! They need to add support for normal "current century" technology in CryEngine for UI, Scaleform GFx (Adobe Flash) isn't going to cut it.
Matchmaking changes made it worse, now in 2 out of 3 games I play again 6 star MMR players who are very hard to kill, they always party with 1-3 star MMR, it wasn't like this before. Players with such a big difference should not play together, they ruin the experience for others.
I'm tired of listening to my friend whine about UI each time we return to menu. Crytek broke him, it's their fault.

They fixed most of the issues so it's safe to recommend.

I like the game but it has an unacceptable number of bugs that needed to be fixed.
Just a rundown of some I experienced:
Multiplayer is a joke, in open-world members of a convoy disappear constantly, in a race other players may be invisible for you and vise versa. When a player hits an invisible one, no physics applied to him, he\she continues to drive as nothing happened, for the invisible one it feels like he got hit by a train. Eliminator is unplayable, the most bugged part of the game, I just don't see a majority of other players, and 1-3 I do see cannot be invited for a race. The last circle must have 12 or fewer players left, but it often does have 30-40 which means most of them don't see anyone as well. A partial fix for that is to spawn in the Eliminator at the same place you are were in open-world, so teleport beforehand, but if it doesn't work, then others can invite you for a race, but you don't see them. In the Festival Trial race, I was once spawned into a tree during pre-race loading screen, then when race started I was teleported back on road in front of everyone else, in 500+ hours in Horizon 4 I never experienced such bizarre bugs.
Potato textures, from time to time mostly on ultra textures settings ground are very low res, according to release notes first patch fixed this, but it still can happen. Some LOD pop-in too close, I can see how proper lighting and shadows appear on bushes and trees literally in front of me (like 15-20 meters), same with some barriers on side of the road.
World geometry is unfinished in many places, usually, on the side of the road there are small black lines with a hole, I lost record-breaking 500k skill points once because of that. Some trees are placed higher than should, there are many big white tents in the world, they have poles inside them, some of them don't connect to the ground, just levitate, some bushes as well.
Advanced controls settings miss button switching for Anna-Telemetry, console version have them, it's like steam players don't play with controllers or what. Horizon 4 on PC (windows store) had those options.
Mouse cursor doesn't disappear, why it is so hard to fix, Horizon 4 had that bug at launch on steam, it was fixed, why it's back? Braking calipers could randomly stuck in the air where car previously was, Horizon 4 has this bug, and it is still there. Some Accolades have mistakes in the description, many just don't work, some Festival assignments as well.
Game crashed a few times, while: scrolling through rims, learning car perk, on the splash screen once.
For a lot of people game simply crashes on the splash screen 100% of time, I played Horizon 4 so I already knew what software it conflicts with (quite a big list). Maybe it's finally the time to add error messages to the game, so you can know why it closes itself? Without googling and frustration.

One of my most favorite game of all time.
They better not screw up with that remake.

A must-play game, especially with 90% sale like right now. Even if you don't like horror games like I am, this is one of the few everyone can enjoy.
