More Hades is good! This had so much of what I loved about the first game, and while the mood and stakes is decidedly different in a way that I've seen put people off, it absolutely sticks the landing I think.

Lots of complaints about game design already here so I won't rehash that.

But honestly it's the 2-3 minute load times PER ZONE despite being on a 4080 and an SSD that is killing this game for me.

I want to be able to recommend this game, I really do. It's a lovely life sim and adds so much to the genre. Unfortunately I've been experiencing a lot of crashes and hangs - not so much that it's unplayable but enough that I lose a day here and there (and it's a whole day - the crashes happen at the day boundary.)

I don't know how many other people have this problem and you might be fine! These only started happening during the grind to S rank for me and there's plenty to experience before that, and all that said I'll probably just soldier on here because I'm having this much fun, but can I recommend it wholeheartedly in light of this? Not really.

Great MMO with a wonderful community. Strong recommend. Only, don't buy it on Steam that's just adding another layer of complexity where something can go wrong for basically no benefit. I'm constantly having to restart my whole Steam client because the FFXIV launcher can't "connect" to it. And it's not like for that hassle I get anything like auto login or achievements or updates.

And, once you bought on steam, you can't unhook from Steam.
