Bug and robot killing fun.

Overly tedious and long. Not sure why I'm still playing it to be honest.

I'm enjoying Jedi Fallen Order. Its influences are clear to see but it has mixed them into an enjoyable whole. Refreshing to see a straight forward single player adventure put out by a major publisher with no micro-transactions or other nonsense.

A high quality looter shooter expertly ported to the PC!

Fun. A perfectly serviceable hack and slash RPG-ish action adventure. Doesn't overstay its welcome and has a good gentle difficulty curve. You just don't see quality B-tier games like this any more.

Something about Fry Cry Primal kept me coming back. It wasn't the story or dialogue. It wasn't the repetative and easy open world sneaky murdering. If you look a this game objectively it shouldn't rate well. Objectively this game is dull, derivative, and repeatitive.

My only guess as to why I stick with it for 40+ hours is that this is the gaming equivalent of comfort food. A game you can play without paying much attention (listening to podcasts or whatever) and still have "fun".

I'm only 5 hours in so maybe the repetitive open world everyone seems to complain about will wear me down but I've played plenty of repetitive open world games before (Assassin's Creed, FarCry, etc) and this one doesn't seem any worse. On the plus side this one seems to have a decent story with characters to care about.
