This game will always have a special place in my heart, no matter what anyone says about it.

I used to play Trove regularly back in the day.
It had (probably still has) great sound-effects, fun gameplay and overall was just an amazing experience!
+ Farming sunflowers was fun lol eazy money


My "Trion account" got lost in the void, and with it, all my Trove and ArcheAge progress - gone. After weeks of trying to recover it through their bad customer support, having send endless messages to them, nobody at Trion seemed to care enough to do anything about it.

You can enjoy the game, it's probably still great!
However, please, NEVER spend money on ANY Trion games!
They don't care about you as a person or player. You're just a digit

Korean version: 10/10
Western version: 6/10

There is some missing content compared to the Korean version, and there are also some things which have been removed from the game all together.

Missing:
- dating/ "sex" progression when romancing NPC's is missing from western version
- Beer drinking mini-game against other players


Removed:
- Card game duels against npc's

Changed:
Certain NPC'S have been PAINTED brown/black - with NO appropriate models.
The reason? --> Lost Ask had to conform to ''racial diversity'', if they wished to get a release in the WEST through Amazon.

One of the rare-few MMO-RPG's with a BARD class!
Used to play it years ago when people believed it to become a ''WOW-killer''.

damn 🥺 those were the days!

The wings-mechanism and the art was/still is AMAZING for it's time.
The varied-amount of classes, from standard support-classes to Mech robots.
Fashion, skins, mounts, pets, Faction battles - so much variations, so much in depth!

[It honestly feels like Lost Ark is a spiritual successor to Aion in that regard]

The pet ''Mellow Ksellid" that would give an ore-bundle when fed it's favorite type of food! That is such an AMAZING concept!

All in all, the game is one of a kind, super rare to come by ...but, it had it's flaws too. At times the gameplay would feel void of purpose, especially in late-game. Many complain about P2W aspects, I personally haven't played that much/that far to notice this difference, but I can say for sure that getting the pets/skins seemed to be only possible to me with real-cash. Take that however you want.

All in all, it might be fun to play it again with some friends going down memory-lane.
But other than that...just add some of the OST's to your playlists, get yourself a few nice wallpapers and make a couple of memorable screenshots of what makes Aion ''Aion'', keep it in your heart and move on!

10/10 for the fond memories.

Fun game, however - they have done a few things wrong as a company:

- Dropped a dev because some snowflakes got ''offended'' by a comment they made
- Failed to upkeep multiple promised deadlines and content updates
- Dropped support for the Chinese language, which caused a ton of Chinese extremists to mass down vote the game.

If you want to play a fun ''jack-of-all-trades'' type of ecchi game, then this is for you! ;D

Pros: - Really fun gamemodes/ storyline.
- Gorgeous visual effects.
- Battle-Ready soundtracks.

Cons: - Certain characters are locked behind a paywall.
- Lag when connecting to certain players is unbearable (but it's more the fault of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet-connection of these players i guess).
- Not all characters are equally made. They aren't all flashy/quick-paced and high damage dealing. Even if you hit a opponent 10 times with some easy combo, he can deal as much, if not 2 times the damage you dealt, with another (easier) combo of an other character.

Overall i would like to give it a neutral rating for the last con, but hey...it's Tekken, it's part of the game, so that's why it's getting a positive review, even if my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DEVIL JHIN AIN''T GETTING ANY LUVEE !!!

I have no regrets.

* Easy to learn ''Mechanics'' / Nice choice of Equipments & Gadgets
* Exciting gameplay & Intriguing Features - [ Thanks to the ''Show Directors'' who push the match in a certain direction, which can also be influenced by VOTES from the people who watch the Director's match through Twitch / Mixer ]
* Roleplaying MOFO's lol

* So far, i have only ONCE come across a little Russian kid, telling others to shut up, but quickly enough, his fellow Russians made him SHUSH his mouth.
Besides this one ocasion, i've only met FRIENDLY and (funny enough), CARING people, who actually ask others ''how are you doing ?'' , and if the reply is ''I'm ok'', they'll continue the conversation by asking ''why OK? what is keeping it from being GREAT ?".

* Sometimes it feels like the ''Show Directors'' should get JUST A TINY ietsy bit MORE ''points'' in a match, so they can make certain scenario's play into action more likely at the right time, without having to wait for points to accumilate, and possibly miss a perfect chance to make something great happen.
