Keep your wallet closed, don't get lured into this mess.

It's buggy, glitchy, has infinite loading screens at every single menu.
The loading before and after matches is longer than the actual gameplay.

Community patches just don't work.
For some they ''seem'' to reduce the glitching - not for me though.

I love Tekken, it's been a big part of my life for many, many cherished years..but this doesn't feel like ''tekken'' anymore, it's been turned into a greedy, smelly corporate goblin.

I do not wish to downvote a Tekken game. It's hard...
So instead, to whomever this matters - I hope this guide will help you make up your mind.

The Good
- Graphical quality, Music, Optimization is all 💯
- BEST multiplayer in the franchise [still a laggy mess compared to Street Fighter 6's Net code]



The Neutral
• Combat is easier > combos are made better for some, others are ruined
‎ ‎ ‎ - Quick-help, rage art, Heat make the game boring and "easy"
• MEH roster, individual stories are a joke, might've as well added more characters!
• Customization is limited and clunky > Can't zoom out > accessories clip



The Bad
• Campaign and character stories are a let down
‎ ‎ ‎ - Previous character stories were "long" and meaningful. Now, it's just hot garbage
‎ ‎ ‎ - Campaign gives edgy vibes - milked so hard we have to wait for Tekken 9 for an ENDING! ‎ ‎ ‎
• Price on Steam is RIGGED
‎ ‎ ‎ - Upgrade from base version (€ 70) to Deluxe version (€ 100) is 40,- !? yeh, NO!
• Training mode is a clunky mess with hard to find options
• English translation gives ''Low Budget'' vibes
• 1v1 in Arcade Louche is called a ''Team match''. Didn't know this was a MOBA!



Conclusion
Overall, game feels rushed, budget cut, and lazily put together

Unfortunately, powerful long-winded combos are easier to pull off too....you're still f*ckt 📌
Get it if you have too much time and money. Tekken fans - AVOID!
