The depth of this game is huge. And the developer keeps adding new interesting contents. Now they announced to focus on the content updates than DLC strategy!

I tried this game during the free weekend for 11hours.

It felt like a mix of MMO and FPS. This means, you have a huge open world with great graphic to explore, but you need to grind and loot new gears to progress the story.

So if like other FPS, you may find annoyed that you're hitting an enemy 5 times on the head to kill it because you're killing lv10 enemy with lv5 gun.

Also if you like MMO, you will find this shooting game requires much more energy than WoW, because you actually miss a hit if you don't aim right, not just press a key.

I personally like it very much, because of this unique mixture. I don't know what happens before version 1.4, but this version feels good.

Pro:
+ Grahpic/Visual: The weather makes even the same place looks completely different. The lighting and details of environment is great.

+ Map: It's interesting to see NY city become war zone. In 11 hours, I finished like 25% game content and I still wonder how would the other side of the city feels like.

+ AI: Much better than some games. Quite a few players in chat says this game is hard and easily got killed, somehow I feel AI did a good job. Remember this is not pre-rendered FPS games.

Con:

- Control: not only once my character lost control and don't stop moving alone the covre edge. And the edge always "sticky" to move freely. I know it may be my problem, because I just press arrow key to move out of cover.

- Music/Sound: I even didn't notice this game has music. Perhaps adding a radio station would be fun. Like what you get in GTA/Fallout, when you run 500m on the street.

- Story: you have such an open world, so many people surviving and they all have a story. Beside begger and lost-minded NPC, why not make sub requests of these people rather than phone recordings? The main story is like nothing anyway...

Let's hope Trump will not give a NY like this. Lol

Lonely "Machine Learning" with challenging brutal force experiement.
- 9/10

I didn't expect I finished this game, and I even didn't expect I finished without checking walkthrough or guides. Usually I try not to give myself too much headache.

The game is well designed. I would compare the experience with Portal 1/2: the story is not twisted as Portal to let you say "Wow! What?", but the level design is complicated as you have so many different tools to think about. Visual design and music design is just "right" for this kind of game. No pressue, just enjoy the mystery and solve puzzles.

This game got tons of strange easter eggs, and most of them is well hidden. I only came acorss a few and they're impressive. It was also fun to watch quite philosophical and skeptical console messages.

It's the kind of game you can stop at any time, and DO want to come back weeks later to continue the journey.

The down side is it doesn't give you opportunity to save, but keep one only save record. Lack of multi-player (or did I miss it) option is also a disappointment (perhaps they can do it in TP 2.0).

It's a great game with amazing detailed graphic, awesome music, and interesting mechanism.

For people like me who don't have hundreds of hours in an open-world game, this 10hour movie-like experience is just right (86% completion rate with normal difficulty). I brought this when it was in discount long time ago but never got time to play. Now I would say it's totally worth it.

I feel the game story is actually wrote for blockbuster movie rather than game, but the interesting martial art combat method (using a gamepad is a must) and memory remix small game made it fun.

Some people may hate this kind of system (reminds me of God of War or Prince of Persia), because you will need to jump around and find the right opportunity to stop the combo. In some later fights, it's even hard to make more than 3 button combo when you're waiting skill cool down. Well, but still much better than Dark Soul...

But I feel many fights are actually added in to make it like an action "game". Also, the camera position during fight and during map exploration is very awkward - can we have a target lock system please?

Replay value seems limited, as the game is quite straight forward. I'm not a fan for collection.

Bottom line: 8/10, great story, awesome visual/audio, straight foward line without choices, interesting combat but may not suit for people don't like this combat system. As for most people it's an one-time experience, take you time to enjoy the visual/audio before rush through the map.
