I have been interested in EVE Online for a few years. Back then, the game was not free-to-play and I was turned off by the monthly subscription fee. I was about to buy Elite: Dangerous on sale; I saw EVE: Online was now free-to-play, and I gave it a shot. 63 Hours later, I've been playing daily and have bought Omega on my 3rd day. The player-driven aspects of the game are what drew me in and it is what makes me want to play. The gameplay is not for everyone but I find it challenging and engaging.
