I rarely do reviews however felt like I needed to for this game. Huge fan of the survival genre. This game brings something unique to the table in terms of realm cards that add unique modifiers and something different to each realm (world you play in). Each realm I've explored so far is stunning and the game looks graphically stunning with Unreal Engine 5 being the backbone. For Early Access, this game has a promising future. If they continue to add more in-depth combat and variety to the game in terms of puzzles, dungeons, vaults, POI, etc I have do doubt this game will do well. There are some obvious QoL things like inventory/storage sorting, cluncky UI elements, etc. that come with EA games but I have no doubt will be fixed as the devs have been quick to respond to community feedback.

Pros:

-Unreal Engine 5 brings the game to unparalleled graphic fidelity w/ Nanite and Lumen technology.
-Get to experience the ARK experience from the beginning. Great for new players or veterans who want to relive that experience.
-Adding quite a bit of new features including 2 new DLCs and QoL updates like S+ type mods on official.
-Includes all the paid DLC maps...it's good knowing there will be map drops for at least the next 12+ months.

Cons:

-Official Servers are still somewhat unstable weeks after PC release.
-While the game is in UE5, there is still a lot of tweaks that need made for better performance and quality.
-Ultimately, this game is being released as a testing bed for the devs to test UE5 for ARK2.

Overall:

-Opinion is that for the price tag you have a lot of game play value here. The game truly excels in the co-op space and with a ton of content releasing over the next year or more it's money well spent if you are an avid ARK fan or have ever wanted to get your feet wet with the game.
