love these arks and how lost they are

Literally bricked my monitor after I launched it. Game tries to run the menu at 2600fps, instantly blacks out my pc. Love it.

Horribly optimized talking sim.

While I haven't played this game for incredibly long yet, I would recommend it.

The combat, while slow and somewhat light-feeling due to a seeming lack of hitstun compared to games similar (See: Dark Souls) is still enjoyable and deliberate.

Graphically, it's quite simple and easy to look at, but at times can be somewhat dark and difficult to see in. This doesn't prevent you from being able to tell what's going on, but definitely reduces the clarity of a situation sometimes.

The atmosphere of the game is pretty nice.
It blends a strange, somewhat sarcastic and dry sense of humour with a dark and somewhat threatening dungeon. While I personally enjoy that, I could definitely see it being a negative for other players, as it occasionally takes away from the serious demeanor of the story (or whatever story you come across). Adding on, the music helps set the tone for the game. It's a very quiet, sharp sound that plays as you stumble across treasures and monsters in the dungeon. I like it. A lot.

Controls are pretty tight and easy to pick up if you've played a Dark Souls game. Things aren't explained very clearly past the first few seconds of staring at a controller layout, but the mechanics are relatively easy to pick up as the game goes on.

While the game is marketed as difficult, I honestly have not found much difficulty thus far! This could be due to previous experience with this genre of gaming, or it could be that the game itself is undertuned. I've seen a few reviews stating it was too difficult, and a few reviews that it was too easy, so take that how you will. It could be different for everyone.

As it stands, the game seems a bit unpolished and a bit unfinished, but still an enjoyable experience for the price.
You'd definitely be able to pull an easy 30-40 hours off of this game, and if the co-op is enjoyable/actually works, then this game is easily something you could come back to for a long time.

Co-op update: The netcode is alright, and the game runs fairly well with two players so long as the host has decent internet. The difficulty doesn't really scale well but it's enjoyable. The friendly fire mechanic isn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be, and you could play around it fairly easily within half an hour of playing with friends.
