Great game.
Hit my head on a few walls and failed some parts but I still very much enjoyed it.

The game has a lot of fun aspects in it. The most important one is it's multiplayer.

The pros
It is a simplistic game, with what I would say, a decent effort of a good execution. The best part about it is the multiplayer/co-op element. You and your buds (depending on player limit mod) venture far to fantasy cities where you work together to overcome dungeons and succeed in quests. Along the way you will set up camps around a small campfire. Eat, drink and craft elixirs, weapon buffs and even TEA. If you are looking for a simple, fantasy, hard co-op game (which is what I was looking for when I found this game) then perhaps this can fill the hole you were looking for.

The cons
PLEASE NOTE. I have not recommended this game. It was a difficult choice to make but there were too many negatives which ultimately bummed my experience out.
“It is a simplistic game”
At the beginning it has new and exciting game unfortunately it slowly turns bland. The quests try and keep things interesting, but the story is nonsense and boring with what feels like no attachment to anything you do. In game other then telling you straight lore.
“Along the way you will set up camps around a small campfire. Eat, drink and craft elixirs, weapon buffs and even TEA.”
Although this is fun at the beginning after time it becomes cumbersome. Most quests point you from A to B. This makes you walk down the same path, camping in the same place, which really drains the enthusiasm of continuing to play. In fact I started this game with 2 other friends and this was the killer for them. They got so bored running around all the time they did not care about finishing it.
“The quests point you from A to B”
Note that some of these quests can be time sensitive without telling you so. With this mind we could never really go exploring other locations. Not that this would matter cause even when we went exploring it would end up being the same fight in a different place.
“The theme of a simple, fantasy, HARD co-op game”
Again, at the beginning it is a nice shock to have enemies be a decent threat. Over the time of going to different areas the enemies do change in types. After time though you realise you need to conserve your character for whatever quest your trying to do. So that mostly means avoiding these enemies so that you don’t lose against the other enemy at the end of the quest. If you do get caught and killed, you end up god knows where only to waste your time trying to get back to where you were.

I understand this sounds exciting with some cool elements but hopefully you will have a committed co-op partner. I struggled to even finish the game by myself and not succumbing boredom. It says I played 44 hours but I would much rather that be 12 hours of tight, exciting game.

Dark Crusade has to as yet the best DoW game out at the moment. The base game shows the exspanion the 40k universe whilst the additions of Tua and Necron armies make the game more thrilling. Dark Crusade also changes the idea of the main campaign compared to an adventure mode of the base game. If you are a friend of mine who attends usual lan nights. BUY THIS GAME DOOD.

The game is a turn/squad based game where you verus enemy is a brutal warfare. It good to play with a backseat player who you both name and use strats. Prepare your butt for a wrecking.

The game works on its own just fine but I do suggest getting Open Xcom for this. Just for easier use.

Great little adventure in the Portal universe. Two of the most frustrating puzzles in the portal universe.

Also freaking loved the Vigil. He was the just the coolest guy. Good work.

The game is alright for those who enjoy commanding a squad but compare to DoW I its a bit of a shame.

I enjoy this game. Its still a bit buggy and lacks the ability to spawn enemys at your command but building the castle and fending hordes of enemies off is always a blast. Watch the trailer it sold me.
P.S I would hold off a bit on this game till full release
