Maybe try seeing if there's anything Valve can do? It should also show on their end when the last time you played, and when the ban was given out. So I don't see why they couldn't also have the power to turn it over. I mean I'm sure the devs sign away just as much of their souls/autonomy when they agree to use the storefront, as we do to use it when we agree to the EULA.
