I'm a casual gamer that doesn't mind a little bit of a difficulty but this is more than I can handle. I am not a souls like player and never have been i've tried many times with those games and they just never clicked with me. I don't enjoy grinding up the same boss over and over for a long time in dying repetitively that gets really frustrating for me. I was hoping the game was going to be responsive a lot of the review said it was like God of war which I love God of war and had no problem with the difficulty on the lower settings on that game and even some of the more challenging parts I was able to manage. I feel like the combat is very sluggish and slow a lot of the powerful attacks are hidden by a huge charge up which by the time a monster puts in his big area attack it gives you no chance to actually do anything in fact there are bosses that can one shot you from across the battlefield even if you're trying to get away from them it just didn't seem like something I could get into.

Needs some serious work. Controls are clumsy. There's no mantle so if you a hit a platform in the middle you get stuck where other games you climb up. The momentum seems to be too much. Jump controls don't seem to register. Biggest grip and that the pause doesn't pause during a cut scene where you can't move your character. I died because something was attacking but it was in the middle a cut away scene when you can't move. Weird.

Loved this game of PS4 and was very excited for it's release when it was released for PC. This game benefits highly from better aim controls like the mouse or in my case the steam controller. Were there bugs? Yep. Did I get crashes? Yes. I disable my nvidia overlay and run the exe as admin. Dropped the graphics to the medium settings. Now getting smooth FPS and no more crashes. Do I think my hardware should be able handle more? Yes. I'll continue to test the better settings as I see patches being released, but I love the game too much to not play it. It's amazing at 60+ fps, and the added better control is awesome. The graphics are still great! Very good game!!
