Hello gamers ! My name is Andrej Pagáč. I am 18 y/o and i live in Slovakia in small city called Považská Bystrica.

Last years i've spent thousands of hours playing computer games. It was everything for me. Day without gaming was one of the worst methods of punishment for me. I prioritized computer games from my real friends. I lost lot of my friends and my all personal values. If i didn't spend this time on pc, I could try new things, meet new friends, maybe find a girlfriend or whatever...

But few days ago i realised that gaming is not that what I will do all my life, because it will not help me in my future. It will not keep my friends forever or help me to prepare for casual things in my life. It was just waste of my time. I could use these thousands of hours to do better things like studying, trying to learn something new etc.

I was outside with my friends few days ago. We talked about my life. They said that they know that I am good person with good brain. They tried to wean me from computer and teach me how to be independent. They were right because I was not able to arrange casual things because I relied on my parents. ,,But your parents will not be here forever." they said. This sentence made me to think about it. I thought about it and they were right. I realised that i will spend less time on computer and i will try to spend as much time as possible with my friends. That does not mean that I will not play PC games. It means just that I will try to reduce 10 hours per day on pc to 1 or 2 hours per day on PC. I hope I will be successful and I will find new way of my life :)

REMEMBER THAT PLAYING PC GAMES WILL NOT PREPARE YOU FOR THE FUTURE. YOU SHOULD TRY TO SPEND YOUR TIME WITH MORE IMPORTANT THINGS. THERE ARE A LOT OF ACTIVITIES WHICH CAN BE MORE FUNNY AND MORE IMPORTANT FOR YOU.
