Even though I do not agree with some of the changes made for the 1896 update, I think it is one of the most entertaining games I have been playing in years.

What makes this game so special? Sure you will always have the same gameplay loop, get in, beat other hunters, get a bounty, extract (hopefully). However every single match is unique due to the different styles of gameplay and skillsets people bring into a match.

With the new update Crytek is delivering a new map, a new boss, a new engine and many changes to gameplay and UI, some being a real improvement and others not.

The new map is beautiful, the boss is horrifying, the new enemies like bats can scare the sh*** out of you and the cows are somewhat interesting.

The new menu is horrible, it takes me ages to get everything set up and move through the different screens and menu items. But I am sure Crytek is listening and will be improving the situation.

Would I recommend this game to others?

Hunt: Showdown is one of the most painful and most enjoyable games I have ever seen. I would totally recommend you to find some friends and give it a go.

Do I like the game? No
Would I recommend No Man's Sky? Yes

No Man's Sky brings a survival game into space with great graphics and good gameplay. The game does run smooth, only a few issues on my PC with the latest update, stuff they will certainly fix over time.

But why do I dislike the game?

I have this game for a while now installed and I am just unable to really get into it. A certain "open world survival game" fatigue is setting in. It is basically the same setting over and over again. Craft, build a base, craft more, get supplies, craft more. Move from A to B to eventually craft more. Maybe follow some kind of story elements.

Why would I still recommend the game?

Anyone who just likes the mentioned gameplay loop will be super satisfied with this game. Adding your space ship and the just beautiful atmosphere created by the planets, their look and the soundtrack it is possibly a perfect game for anyone who loves open world survival crafting games.

For some people this game not be the one survival city builder game, for some maybe even "Yet another survival city builder".

I personally like New Cycle for its gameplay and style. With a touch of Frostpunk, New Cycle is guiding you throught the events of a catastrophic solar flare, trying to build a new civilization from scratch. Well known city builder elements, expeditions, events in a "Diesel Punk" genre.

But I have to be honest. I get the critics. When I played the demo first I was not convinced at all. I just really got into the game when giving it a second try.

Interesting game for sure, the price might be slightly too high. Would still recommend.

I managed to play the early preview build and I must say I am impressed of the quality of this game. I have not experienced a single game breaking bug.

If you like the old The Settlers games you will get a feeling of nostalgia when playing this, as Envision Entertainment is managing to bring back the love and detail needed with such a game. Thought through production changes, path building, settlement building and cute looking graphics.

The roadmap looks very promising and the procedural map generator gives you an always changing game experience and if you are fed up with the presets you can just customize the settings.

Difficulty between easy and very difficult lets you choose if you want a challenge or just some cozy gameplay after a stressful day.

Here we are again. Dungeons 4. Larger maps, more creatures, continued story and a few changes.

Dungeons 4 takes the essence of Dungeons 3 and tweaked things here and there. The game feels like trying to stay on the safe side and why should they change the game entirely? Dungeons 3 was very well received so might as well continue on that path.

Jokes and dialogues are funny, at least for me. But I embrace this type of German humor and the references to pop culture. Of course you're not allowed to be upset when one of your favorite franchises gets a little side joke ;-)

Pressure for the missions? I don't have any. I spend about 2 hours building up my dungeon and when I had enough of the mission I have enough firepower to crush the goodness. But that is my personal gameplay style, you might differ.

Also I might be only a 6 year old as I really like the simplified research menu, as another review suggests.

Overall this game is solid and fun. My only wish would be more multiplayer. For example I would love to play with a friend, each their own dungeon and then have the options either fight each other or fight up to two bots or other players.

While playing I have not found any bugs yet or they are so minor that I didn't even realize they were there.

The game has potential. For the moment the game modes and maps a pretty limited but that was announced when the game went into Early Access.

The game definitely has some glitches, which need to be fixed but the game is definitely playable and a lot of fun, especially with friends. The community and the voice chat discussions are absolute golden.

Looking forward on how this game will develop. I'm having fun.

I usually do not buy games on day 1 because they usually have bugs, problems, early access drama, never get done and so on. This game I tested and watched parts of it at Gamescom 2022 and it was indeed a day 1 buy for me, even if I wanted to wait at first.

I am not disappointed at all. The game is difficult and sometimes complicated which is good. Not a game which you just play through in 2 hours and put it aside.

If you liked Frostpunk, like dealing with micro management, problems of your citizens and like the struggle of your civilization to survive, this game will be something for you.

Pro:
- Interesting storytelling + cutscenes
- Amazing soundtrack
- Tutorial material, which you should read
- Having 3 layers to work in keeps you busy without much idle time
- It is challenging
- For day 1 buy the quality of the game is extremely good.

What could be better:
- Have the advisors guide you more in the beginning
- Transfering material and people between sections is not really clear

I cannot find really much negative things to say about the game. Yes the game is difficult and if you don't have anyone to ask read the tutorial which is being displayed, you will probably need it.

There are a few QoL related things which should be addressed but I bet they will be addressed soon, as with the latest patch and all the accidents happening.

Darktide is a good game with some issues however. You can have plenty of fun no matter if you are playing with randoms (of course there are exceptions) or with friends. However the game feels a little bit unpolished.

Positive:
- Good graphics
- Fast gameplay
- Fun mechanics
- Epic soundtrack
- You can kill heretics
- Good cutscenes

Negative:
- Bugs + Crashes (especially for NVidia users and creators)
- Gameplay is a little repetitive.
- No crossplay between Gamepass and Steam (yet)

On my behalf I can still recommend the game and I am sure Fatshark will improve it with constant updates.

What I would wish is a little bit more story depth into the Warhammer 40k lore, maybe add more story to the missions. Also new classes/characters and new missions would be just amazing in the future.

I have played the main storyline now and did explore a little bit the map.

If you are searching for an openworld survival game, but with a clear storyline to follow, this might be the game for you.

However don't think this game is easy, you will encounter many dangers which can kill you.

Take your time, think about your steps and listen to your environment.

Would totally recommend this game.

Eigentlich müsste Steam die Möglichkeit bieten eine neutrale Bewertung zu geben. Vorab muss ich sagen das ich mein Geld zurückverlangt habe. Nicht weil es kein gutes Spiel ist sondern, weil es im aktuellen Stand Bugs gibt, die es mir unmöglich machen es anständig zu spielen. Bei anderen Personen funktioniert es aber durchaus sehr gut.

Pro:
Das Spielprinzip ist gut. Man hat eine bestimmte Zeit (in Echtzeit gemessen) um eine Mission abzuschließen. Diese Mission kann natürlich jederzeit vorzeitig abgeschlossen, aber auch abgebrochen werden.

Man muss überleben, bauen aber nicht zu viel und Missionsgegenstände einsameln. Dies alles unter einem gewissen Zeitdruck Die Gefahren sind echt von Stürmen bis natürlich hin zu Kreaturen, die einen umbringen möchten. Stirbt der Charakter verliert man viel.

Contra:
Bugs. Mit meinem aktuellen Setup habe ich massive Schwierigkeiten. Das Spiel stürzt ab, Grafikglitches. Dies kann natürlich ein Zusammenhang zwischen meiner Hardware, dem Treiber und dem Spiel sein.

Fazit:
Ich konnte es nicht viel spielen. Das was ich gesehen habe und was ich machen konnte hat mich schon gepackt. Ich werde mir das Spiel wieder zulegen sobald ein paar weitere Updates draußen sind.
