Update: The game is working now after a re-install. Other Mac users are still having issues but mine have been resolved.

This game analagous to Bioshock Infinite in the sense that the story is great but the combat itself is pretty generic. It mostly consists of arenas where bad guys pour in and you proceed to fight using your average cover shooting mechanics. The AI is average. Bad guys do not coordinate in any way, they move to cover in seemingly random ways and they run toward you at stupid times.

With that being said, this is a good game - don't get me wrong. It's just not a "great" one. If you enjoy shooting a lot of bad guys but want a story that isn't really cliche (as most military shooters are) then this is a game for you. I'm enjoying it thus far and the story is what's keeping me engaged. I'm five chapters and have yet to encounter any other forms of combat. Maybe they'll be some key moments as I continue on.

Also, the graphics are as strong as the story. I'm playing on medium-low settings (I have a macbook lol) and it still looks great. I'm sure a decent PC will be able to get very impressive visuals out of this one.
