Usually i'm skeptical of games that try to fuse too many genres, but Armello does it really well. The strategy, CCG, and RPG elements and each simple enough that the game is easy to learn, but they blend in organically so the game achieves and depth through width. Plus, the individual charactes have a good amount of balanced variety so you can either rely heavily on the game mechanics you like the most or do a bit of everything and still have a chance at winning. The game does rely heavily on RNG, but there are countless ways to control it and effectively doing so is what makes you a good player. Bonus points for having a great art style. Well worth 20 bucks.
