The gameplay is so fun, even more as you start upgrading your skills and powers. The world building is excellent as is the dialog and voice-acting. The story of the main character doesn't evolve as much as I would want, but the rest of the game (including the amazing graphics) is so well put together that I can only recommend this game.

Awesome little hidden gem of a game. Killer soundtrack (John Wick vibes), the fighting is very satisfying, good upgrade system and lots of cosmetic unlockables. No DLC, no MTXs, straight to the point game.

For Super Nerf!

(Still holding out hope for Arrowhead to get back on track with this game, but as of right now with all the PSN blocked countries, and the game being in a state of constant nerfs and bugs showing up at each update, and the previous ones not being fixed...can't recommend it.

Just throwing out my recommendation for this game. All or most of the issues with servers are gone, game is absolutely great (haven't got to endgame, but the campaign is super fun, builds are really straight forward, crafting is simple and effective, sounds/skills are crunchy and feel good.)

It is a great joy to see this game go from early access into what it is now (even with the "growing pains of the first days of launch), and the potential for the future is looking awesome.

As an early access it's really good value. Even if only 40% of the map is available it has at least 50 hours of fun exploration, crafting and deep building. Decent skill tree. Lots of armor types, weapons and loot to find. The game just needs a pretty big balance pass, or options to configure your own server.

Everything this game sets out to do in terms of gameplay is executed flawlessly. Movement is tight, gunplay is good and the many weapons feel different and serve very different tactical purposes. The campaign is not only a perfect tutorial for the online, but also one of the best stories in terms of first person shooters, albeit a short one. I only played a couple hours of the online component due to the state of the servers, but now that I found about the NorthStar server app on GitHub I'm definitely gonna give it another go.

The game might not be the most innovative or original. It might not be technically perfect, and the performance is a bit worst than expected. The pacing and character leveling is a bit all over the place. But by Merlins' beard, it is the coziest game ever. The exploration is very satisfying and the graphics are very good, especially for the landscape and architecture. Hogwarts castle is very detailed and immersive. Hope this is the beginning of a franchise that makes HP fans happy, after so many years without any relevant media around the wizarding world.

EDIT: As of the 4.04 patch, the game seems to be running decently in DX12 with RT, at least on my RTX3080. Still some stutters in the most populated cities, but I don't think that will ever be fixed, only brute-forced with better CPUs.


Masterpiece open-world RPG. Amazing story arcs, great graphics and gameplay, huge DLCs. Pretty much flawless as far as action RPGs go.

NextGen update adds Raytracing features that look great (have a look at my screenies if you want to), but come at a very heavy cost to the CPU due to the DX12 "fake" implementation. Still it's optional and if you choose to run the game in DX11 and no Raytracing the game still looks amazing and runs as expected.

If you have 2 or 3 friends to play this with you, it's a mandatory game. One of the best co-op games out there.
Graphics and visual design is good, nice optimization, can be a bit grindy if you want to unlock everything for all 4 classes, but it is always fun and funny. Definitely recommend it. For Karl!!
