Excellent deck builder still getting new content. Very high effort from the devs and it shows.

Many rough edges in here that I hope get patched in time, and some that are just antiquated design that can't really be 'fixed' directly.

That being said if you are willing to turn your brain all the way off and just enjoy nostalgia for Suikoden there is still a game worth playing in here. The team making it clearly lacked experience but had passion and that shines through if you can tolerate the sharp edges.

The port is a little rough and barebones but this is still a really excellent game if you like the SMT gameplay loop.

Some of the time limited stuff and missables are as annoying today as they were back then. Ultimately though still one of the best final fantasy games ever made, especially if you have a fondness for 1-6 as its basically one big love letter to those games.

For good or for ill this is more Hitman 2016. In my book Hitman 2016 was a truly excellent game and Hitman 2 (2018) is no different. If you loved the first game and wanted more the two year gap should be just long enough to get your appetite back up.

It's slighly buggier than the 2016 launch was but IO has been pretty good on post-launch support and the bugs are in the 'funny' catergory and not the 'rage inducing' one.

Not a super huge fan of all of BeamDog's changes in the update but overall I've sunk hundreds of hours into this game and the core is still as good today as it was then.
