Also as a strong fan of the first game this game has so many optimizations and QoL added it's insane. I cried when I played.

A super cute adventure game that hits all the right places for a casual rpg! It's definitely on the easier side, but you can spend quite a bit of time on this game. It's a quaint story that allows you to feel comfortable doing the mundane tasks to build up levels. The boss fights are cool and fit the dynamic of each area. The music is lovely and the pixel art contains a peaceful yet an appropriate tone for each individual area. As someone who's followed this game years before launch, it's definitely exceeded my expectations.

I really do find this game to be a lot of fun.

Cosmetics I have no issue with the paywall. They have to manage to scrape up *some* money from the game. The issue I have with the cosmetics is their pricing. You could have as much cosmetics as you want, but not at some weird prices.

The initial prompt of monetizing the game poorly, with little to literally no notification was a bad start. They are fixing it, but it's still lacking.

They didn't put the ping system, nor abide by the many votes to have a scythe or gun karma as dlc. They are missing a lot of content. I genuinely do enjoy the game, but it's lacking in both content and clearing of bugs.

Visual bugs are not an issue. Gameplay and movement bugs are nasty. I've not encountered them myself, but I am aware many users are having that issue, and it's being thrown to the side with ♥♥♥♥ ways to temporarily solve them. It's early access, but it's really lacking compared to actually every early access game that's come out for the past couple of years.

don't buy it. not when it's at full price, not when it's on sale. just don't buy it.

not worth the money at all. you literally cannot, I repeat, cannot play it by yourself.
If you happen to have three friends at the ready and own this game for some forsaken reason, sure play it for like 3 hours.
