This is an incredible game, i would definitely recommend it. The only problem with it is that it is a bit buggy, but obviously that is because it is still W.I.P.

1376 hours and counting. I've had this game for some time now and i'm still playing.

You start the game as a grinder, as in most games with resources like this you have have to manually mine. Using your bare hands takes time but with a simple pickaxe things speed up. but then, with a few more resources you'll build a mining drill, plonk it down and let it do the grind for you. You can craft almost everything by hand but, build a factory and it will craft the things for you. however, you need to get the resources from one place to the next and that's where factorio gets really interesting. It becomes a puzzle of how to lay down conveyor belts to transport your ♥♥♥♥ about. It starts off simple but before long you’ll have belts all over the place and you’ll wonder how you did it. A lot later on you’ll need to expand your base by going out to collect what you need with a train system. This is done brilliantly with an easy track laying method and simple automated signals and before long your trains will be collecting and dumping off the ores in massive quantities, which trust me, you’ll need.

Cons:
it's just 2D

Conclusion
If you like puzzle solving, if you like starting projects but getting someone else to finish them, if like to create systems, if you love model railways, then you’ll love this game.

Honestly, there are a lot of little tweaks that could be done to improve this game but that's what the modders are doing.

A bit tricky to get the hang of at first but once you understand the way the system works you realise how complexed and diverse this game is. Loads of scope with this game and cant wait to see how it develops. Really needs some alien type creatures on a few of the asteroids t shoot at, im sure it will come in time. Massive thumbs up, one of the best games ive played in the past few years even in its early stages.
