I mean, if you like Bethesda style open world games, you're going to love it. If you don't care for them, you probably won't. It's not perfect, it could use some QoL UI and resource management improvements (likely coming in patches and mods), but I've had very few crashes and no real other issues since starting on early access day which is amazing for any AAA game these days, let alone one this ambitious. Performance is great on my gaming PC (i7 9700K, 64GB, game on NVMe, RTX-3090, 4K Ultra @ ~60fps) is amazing and it plays pretty well on the Steam Deck too (FSR2 set to 50% resolution, Low quality, ~30fps). I have had some odd issues on a laptop that should be beefy enough to play well but it is likely hamstrung by having a Quattro graphics card instead of "gaming" dGPU where it gets 7fps(!) so still some room for optimization/driver fixes.

Overall, I'm almost 140 hours in and I'm still loving it. Nothing like sneaking about a low-grav world and head shoting spacers with a scoped, suppressed rifle and watching them limply float away... :D

Awesome story and world. Fun mechanics and character building. I played through the original without the DLC on the the PS4 and am playing through again right now on PC to refresh the story in my mind before either picking up Forbidden West on PS5 or, hopefully, on steam in a year or so.
