The only reason I'm not recommending this is because devs have no clue about balancing and forcing you to cooperate is their only solution to a completely broken end game.
(But perhaps that's the point and they only care about farming money using support packs, who knows)

Mind that this is the second account I'm leveling up to the end game and it's the second time I'm deeply disappointed by how they handled Deep Rock's end game, which is always the same from season to season: there's no depth to difficulty and the meaning of difficulty never gets renewed in terms of challenge, missions become repetitive and boring, mechanics are always the same (sadly I'm not joking) and all that changes between higher levels is that swarms get progressively bigger and spawns are annoying - without your ammo or every other spawned resources following up, which makes soloing impossible in a long term unless you have the time to grind tirelessly through the same cenarios over and over and over and over the whole week for at least 12 hours straight.

Map generation is awful to say the least, where half end game levels have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screwed up layout as the sheer display of hiring someone to design things he/she doesn't have the bare minimum clue about. You're most probably sticking with a character who has some crazy mobility like Scout or some very good utility like Engineer or you probaby won't make it through the first 5 minutes of any intermediate to hard mission.

If you're a casual player who likes to stick with friends and do easy missions, go ahead and waste some time with this. Otherwise, it's way better to avoid and go play something better like e.g Risk of Rain 2. It just becomes the same, a bullet hell where you just gotta survive but at least there you won't be stuck and hard nerfed by ♥♥♥♥ devs, depending solely on your skill/a bit of luck.

I don't mean to hate, as I love the game. Deep Rock is brilliant and stands out from almost everything in the store when the topic is multiplayer fun, but it is broken at its core and devs aren't giving a ♥♥♥♥ nowadays about balancing or fixing issues, they just wanna make "battle passes" and events with boring recycled themes and mechanics. Being that the utmost and most painful fact that holds this gem down, it would be unfair telling someone to ignore everything else because shouting ROCK AND STONE nonstop at missions and laughing at friends being instakilled by supply drops is awesome. You will be disappointed as soon as 50 hours (tops) hit and you realize you can only play with friends to make this work.

PS to all brainless fanboys in the review section: nope, Deep Rock devs doesn't deserve a Labor of Love award.
