So it's a good game and I recommend playing it but there are a lot of story gotchas that are really annoying and ruin parts of the role playing and forced me to decide to go back really far to undo an action that to me didn't make any sense. There are warnings about hey this will change the world and while true what it changes often doesn't make sense. Personally I would recommend if you hit one of those warnings finish all other quests in the area and explore the whole map even places that you think you can't get without doing this first.

Favorite game to play with my partner. Will continue to replay for years to come.

I can't figure out if I hate this game or like it. I'm terrified of the ocean and deep water, it causes me to panic basically the whole time I'm playing and I still haven't actually finished it.

All in all it's not a bad game, if you don't have a phobia of deep water and didn't know what you were getting into during ea. If you don't have a phobia of deep water then you might be a bit disappointed in how much game time there is. If you just kinda go for things and don't worry about running into anything then you will finish really pretty fast and probably never even die, most monsters are pretty easy to dodge/avoid. I'm just terrified so you know.

I will also add this. I don't feel like this is a finished game. There are no game breaking glitches but the number of times I run into creatures flying across my screen or my base outline loading long before I should be able to see it, is kinda insane. Oh and the popping oh jeez the popping, nothing else runs quite as poppy as subnautica.

It's really pretty though super aesthetically pleasing I'm sure I would enjoy it more if I wasn't about to run away from my computer ever few seconds.

The most overwelminly well put together game I've ever played. I played the original, loved it and was amazed by the quality not aware that it was a kickstarter game. This took everything I loved about the original and made it even better. Only thing to make this game better would be to have skyrim esque crafting though it would probably be overwhelming to handle that as well. This game is honestly as close to a realworld table top game as it can probably get before masive improvements to AI.

It is very grindy but it's realistic in its difficulty to actually become something in such an unforgiving environemnt.

I started in this game when it was first started and it was great. At first when I died and would loose all my xp and rp and there was no respawn I was pissed and thought it was stupid but then I found that it was actually really fun to have a challenge like that and I really got good at the game. Eventually they added in the part where you still got everything you earned from a game even if you died so it wasn't such a big deal to die mid game and that was an impovement in my eyes.

However the new game mode and the massive loss in players has completely ruined the game. In order to make the new game mode "fare" they nerfed guns and put a speed caps on everything and this crushed classic. It was how classic worked and made classic a highly skilled game you didn't survive in the air for long if you didn't know what you were doing or got too close to a tank but now you move too slow to dip and dodge and you have to build a flying tank with way too many guns and bam your golden.

I know this makes me sound like some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person who doesn't like change but its not just me its 90% of the old players and now its a game that people will pick up for a month then stop because its no different then any other game out there. It has become just another fps without anything special.

I know most of you really don't care and I feel like its far to late to make this game great agian but maybe just maybe it will come back to being great but for now I can't even recommend this game to a friend because it sucks, it really really sucks. ♥♥♥♥ you devs this could have been great.
