Where else can you go from being a gritty, feared Yakuza enforcer to helping a shy dominatrix in the space of minutes? Only in Yakuza 0! This game is like a sushi roll filled with high stakes crime drama, then topped with a generous sprinkle of ridiculous side quests. One minute, you're smashing faces with bicycles, the next, you're busting out disco moves that'd make John Travolta jealous! It's a seamless blend of 'OH MY GOD' and 'WTF?!' moments that never feels out of place. The 1980s Japan setting is richly detailed, pulling you in with its neon-lit charm and keeping you there with its engaging storytelling. Yakuza 0 is like a roundhouse kick to the face - unexpected, slightly ridiculous, but you're left wanting more.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a refreshing and innovative addition to the long-standing Yakuza series, offering a unique blend of engaging storytelling, dynamic combat, and rich character development. As a newcomer to the franchise or a loyal fan, this game is a must-play for anyone seeking a thrilling and immersive experience.

The story follows the protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, who has recently been released from prison after serving 18 years for a crime he didn't commit. Upon re-entering society, Ichiban finds himself in the middle of a complex web of intrigue and deception, forcing him to fight for survival and uncover the truth behind his betrayal.

One of the most significant changes in Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the introduction of turn-based combat, a departure from the real-time brawling of previous entries. This new system adds a strategic layer to the gameplay, encouraging players to consider each character's strengths and weaknesses while planning their moves. Additionally, the game introduces a job system, allowing characters to switch between different roles and abilities, adding further depth and customization.

The world of Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a vibrant and bustling rendition of Yokohama, filled with various activities and side quests that provide hours of entertainment. The game's side stories are both amusing and captivating, offering a break from the main narrative while still contributing to the overall character development and immersion.

Graphically, the game is stunning, with detailed character models and environments that bring the world of Yakuza to life. The voice acting and soundtrack are equally impressive, with memorable performances and a fitting musical score that enhances the overall experience.

In conclusion, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a remarkable entry in the series, providing a captivating story, strategic turn-based combat, and a wealth of content to explore. Whether you're a fan of the Yakuza franchise or just looking for an engaging RPG, this game is a must-have addition to your Steam library.
