jokes aside, the concept of the game is really cool and the game itself is fun, it just needs more players it seems as queue times are insanely long as teen...

okay well where do i even start...

I love this game so much but my god its annoying, like imagine only having Central Europe servers for the entirety of Europe on the NA / EU release... the game is unplayable during prime time because the Central Europe's servers are overflowing with all of the EUW players aswell making matchmaking impossible even when trying to enter content solo. I myself should be on EUW but its honestly a joke that they dont have any sort of transfer system or any insentive for us to switch... NO ONE wants to lose all their progress that they have made during the last few days, especially if you have the Platinum Founders Pack or you have spent money on those characters.

Story Quests are gate keeped behind ilvl requirements meaning when the servers are playing up i cant just go and do my story quests, the only way really to get ilvl upgrades is to do the content which requires the matchmaking (abyssal dungeons, chaos dungeons & Guardian Raids) 30 mins ago i was in a 2 HOUR QUEUE for the 460 abyssal dungeon to only go into it finding out everyone had around 2000000ms making that also unplayable... it would really be ashame to see this game die in Europe because of all this bs honestly. I'm literally questioning if its my ping or the server half the time because i shouldnt even be on central europe honestly yet i aint gonna just start over again when i have 2 characters basically ilvl 500.

The only time im actually able to play without issues is from 4am - 1pm, as soon as 1pm hits you may aswell just call it a day, I've never played a game before where im forced to play between certain times...

Dailies can only just about be completed on your main character let alone alts because of all these server issues meaning your characters will be even more behind because you aint even able to do your dailies like cmon man this is a joke.

where do i start... seriously

i honestly cant really think of many good reasons to play this game right now apart from if you wanna play as your favourite killer from a movie or something, even then you wont enjoy it.
The last few patches of this game have honestly been terrible, the game is completely unbalanced and this is coming from a 75 / 25 survivor main. The recent update added a new mechanic into the game known as boon totems where survivors were basically able to add their own hex's into the match so you could say, which gives significant buffs to everyone in that area, imo the concept is pretty cool BUT its really not healthy as of how this game stands right now.

I honestly respect all the people that actually want to queue the killer role because my god its so not fun lately. the fact its so much harder to control the game as of recent patches being heavily survivor based and now the addition of survivors having hex totems its like bruh... who actually wants to play a game which makes you stressed 24/7? i don't get it. The decrease in the amount of people searching as killer also means longer survivor queue times which then also makes it unfun for survivors as it takes forever to get into games i just cant seem to enjoy the game right now, even tho i really try to. This is also coming from someone who plays on the competitive scene with 2,000 hours so i do have some knowledge on the game.

Also one more thing which i want to mention thats been happening nearly once every 4 games is the amount of server dc's that happen before the match even loads, i seem to be spending more time on the loading screen rather than actually playing the game, its really only been happening frequently since the new update which came out yesterday so im willing to cut it some negativity as its recently new but still its the fact that if the lobby dc's when you are connecting it takes roughly 6-7 mins before it actually pulls you into the end game screen which is too long in my opinion and its pretty boring.

Don't get me wrong i would love to leave a positive review on this game as i do really enjoy it but as the game currently stands i struggle to do so, also doesn't help when most of the survivor sided community are entitled 10 year old's

great looter shooter

Honestly where do i start, This game is really fun in VR with a bunch of friends. So many laughs already and yet we all haven't even played that long yet. Let me give you all a run down of my experience in the first 5 mins of launching this game.

So me and 2 friends create a party and got into the van all ready to hunt some ghosts when all of a sudden one of my friends mom comes into his room and starts thinking he is actually doing real paranormal activities AKA contacting spirits etc and we all couldn't stop laughing.

Friends mom - "I told you to be careful what you are doing, Make sure you close your game down properly"
Me - "Does your mom think there will be ghosts coming out of the game?"
Friend - "Yeah..."
Friends mom - "Because if you don't close it down properly you will leave entities behind"
Friend "Ah, Right okay, its alright mom i have my antivirus on so that will protect us"

Would seriously recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of horrors and also Ghost Adventures, Finally get to feel like Zak Bagans. Lets just hope you aint the one playing as Aaron Goodwin as you will be the one getting sent in alone all the time haha.

Not sure what the suspense is like on desktop but i can easily give it a strong 9/10 for VR.

First ever dark souls series purchase and i must say i love it! I havent really took many breaks since buying it, Currently on NG+8 SL313 with 217 hours.

Had the game for two weeks and although i don't really know much lore based that didn't really effect my experience. Another great thing about this game is the PvP in my opinion and how satisfying it is when you finally kill Midir!

10/10 would recommend :)
