Simple and enjoyable. Start off slow, gain gold and some troops, take over some settlements, continuously, build momentum, take over the continent. The graphics are simple, but the gameplay still shows the vision the developer had.

At times quite hard or tedious, when you are fighting more than 4 enemy knights at the same time, but that mostly only happens towards the mid-late game.

Would love to have some more probing AI tactics, where they do not only attack your front line.
There are events where there are random enemy spawns behind your front lines, but i found those more annoying that interesting.

Once you beat the game, you get a NewGame+ experience with all abilities unlocked, so you really can goof around and test all the game has to offer. It offers some limited replayability, but it is still the same map, so I doubt it will hold my interest for long.
All in all, I'd buy this again if I hadn't played it yet.

Very nice and fairly short - in terms of clickers.
Interactive gameplay, until you mostly automate it all.
Decent synergies between units.

The downside is that some units are no-brainers in the end-game, while others have minimal return on the investments you need to make. This makes most runs farily similar once you get to a certain point.
You can boost some late game abilities with the talent tree, and offset the heavy bias towards the "obvious" unit choice, though that requires you to get all of the tree unlocked.

All in all, I enjoyed it, and would play a similar experience again.

It's an endearing clicker. It's quick and easy. No parts are extremely tedious, and most upgrade paths are just a few minutes away.
Takes about 2 hours to complete, and satisfies the clicker-dopamine-crave quite well.

It is an idle game in the truest form.
You upgrade your attacks, defense, stats, etc, and progress further into the game. Eventually you unlock abilities to auto upgrade your attacks, unlocking easier idling.
The further you progress the better gear you can find, which allows you to progress even further.
You level up and gain talents to help you progress even further.
Once you are unable to progress, you reincarnate and gain some special talents, boosting your character in some form, allowing you to redo all the above, and punch through the area you got stuck on.
There are several mini-games that also act like their own individual idle game, letting you "reset" different parts of your play through at different times.

Allegedly, once you beat "most" of the game, you can ascend and start all over again with even more special talents.
I have not gotten that far so can not say how that works.

All in all, a very true auto-idler. You will spend weeks grinding away at it. Thumbs up if you enjoy idlers.

It's a neat little casual game. Your mouse moves an "attack box" which automatically triggers to hit the "enemy boxes". Collect the stuff they drop. Use that stuff to upgrade your attack box. Rinse and repeat.
It's an upgrade path kind of game, with ever growing returns the further you get into the game.
Endgame is a bit too easy and samey, once you get all the upgrades, but before that it is very enjoyable.

It's a nice atmospheric adventure. It's a chill exploration game with mostly serene set pieces for backdrops that float past as you traverse the landscape in your Okomotive. I quite enjoyed the experience. A time-out from more action-packed games.

Early Access Review
Quaint tower-defense game. Feels simple and easy to understand, yet interactive and engaging enough to not be boring.
It becomes hard after a while, and you will probably lose a few games while learning.

I like the little objectives you get for the different maps, where you can play challenge modes.

I would love to have some simple coop elements like healing, backup, and just synergies between two people and having someone to share the experience with. That said, the game is enjoyable alone as well.

It seems like a nice concept, but when you try to get into the game and learn the ropes, only to have everything torn apart by a single zombie attacking one of your houses, turning your entire city into a horde, it just becomes frustrating.
Perhaps I will learn to get better, but for now this game is just annoying to play.

Disclaimer: I love the base game. It has things it is missing, but it also has a lot to give.

TLDR: I like it. It has some things I really like, some things I find ok, and some things that could be better.

This DLC creates a progression-like map (sort of like the story in the base game, but not really) where you fight for control of the world map. You do one move and action, and the enemy does one move and action. The action might involve fighting enemies or building defenses in your local area.

The enemy adapts to your tactics and will change a "world mutator" based on your most used tactics. This means they will try to counter your most effective tactics in a rock-paper-scissors-like ability mutation game. You will need to adapt your tactics to overcome the new mutation.

I wish there were a bigger universe connecting the worlds, giving them a bit more meaning. It would be your own personal universe-war.

All in all, I like this. It is well worth the asking price if you like the base game. I honestly wish there were more games like this. Perhaps even one with less strategy and more 1 player = 1 unit multiplayer kind of thing with RPG elements. But that is just me seeing interesting twists on what is already here.

The game you love to hate, and hate to love.

Great sandbox game where you can do anything you want to, but set to a military setting.
The content is up to which missions you are able to get your hands on.
The community has tons of missions and mods available.

I play with a community where we have enough mission makers to pump out new custom missions every week, which brings a never ending stream of new content.
The people you play the game with also makes a lot of the experience.
You might shoot some baddies and get some objectives, but in the end you romp around and talk junk with your friends.

10/10 experience if you look past the Arma jank.
