Big recommend, you can tell whoever made this really knows their stuff with beat em ups, and also is into fighting games. System is so open and fun to play in. I like this game better than streets of rage 4.

Best game I have played in 5 maybe 10 years.

Dave the Diver keeps throwing new things to do at you so that things never become stale. The core gameplay is fun, engaging and broken up exceptionally well so that nothing overstays its welcome. A lot of the time games that go for this sort of relaxed, casual feeling end up just being dull to play, this certainly is not one of those games. This is something that I can easily recommend to anyone that has the slightest interest in video games and be pretty confident that they will like it.

I am so impressed with how they handled this project, they stayed true to how the original felt while still making it feel modern. Streets of Rage 2 is one of the main games of my childhood and I knew going in that I was going to be sensitive to anything that felt off about this reboot, but they nailed it. I don't buy many games anymore but I am going to keep an eye on everything these guys are developing from now on.

Not going to forget their past stinkers they have put out at or near this pricepoint, but this expansion is properly priced at $20 and renewed my interest in this game. Well done.

With the revival of isometric rpg's and the large amount of classics available on steam, there are much better options. Linear clunky and boring.
