This game is amazing! It has a ton of depth, hunting warlords is awesome! You have to interrogate regular enemies to find out who the chiefs are, and certain enemies have intel like what the bosses are immune to, weak against, all sorts of stuff, even their motives, which change if they have killed you, or ran from you after getting whooped. There are so many extras to this game, like the collectibles you examine to find hidden memories about (like resident evil). There is so much beautiful artwork, and a rich and complex story.

The voice acting is great, the enemy models are fantastic as are the animations of their faces, the death blows, so much.

And this game has hands down the best photograph mode of any game (you can always pause the game and zoom in and out, add filters, so many dope things, as soon as you see cool ♥♥♥♥ going down try messing around, I'm hooked!)

I think I got this in a humble bundle, but this is a very high quality game, you should check it out!

I spent 10 hours doing every sidequest and fully exploring the 1st village. I've got over 100 hours and I've yet to complete the main story, and still have not touched the two expansions.
And I've still got hundreds of places to do and see judging by my map. As of 123 hours in, I have done 174 quests, and am nowhere near finished.

This game is what Final Fantasy 7-9 was to games back on the playstation.
Just unreal levels of depth to story and world-building. And the story really hits. I've gotten chills, gotten angry, and even felt a bit choked up on more than one occasion just from what transpires.

There must literally be over 30 hours of voiced dialogue. Every single quest fully voiced, you hear a ton of lore just walking by the townsfolk.

The combat system is the weakest part (much like final fantasy) but the game rewards everything you do so completely with consequences of your actions and choices, you always go back in for more. The depth of the combat is in the potions, poisons, and spells, which make finding new alchemy that much rewarding.

Again like final fantasy, the card side-game of Gwent is fun, and collecting and just looking at the cards and reading them is enjoyable in itself. I must have 5-10 hours of just playing Gwent.

I am not one to buy into the hype, but this game is one of the few where the massive hype was still not enough. I love this game, and I love this world.

And I've never played much of either Witcher before.

Better than fortnite, but won't replace PUBG.

This is one of the most beautiful games ever made, in the vein of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Challenging, but fair, bosses. I woke the gf a few times, but it was always my fault.

No idea why the mixed reviews, this is a very high quality game, makes no sense at all.
I loved this game so much that I bought this for 3 friends, first time I've ever done that.
This is THE game to introduce newbies to the Soulsborne genre.

The friggin art man! Stunning areas. Excellent lighting, shadows and fog use. Bosses look fantastic. Voice-acted lore all around! People's mouths move when they talk, unlike the Soulsborne games lol. Graphics are more impressive than Dark Souls 1-3 and Bloodborne, and it's just as much FUN, too. Runs great on triple-monitor, unlike Soulsborne. It even looks better than The Surge, which deck 13 made AFTER this and which is definitely worth checking out as well!

The most common complaint I've heard in reviews is it's "clunky". I would bet those reviewers were playing the default knight, which has a slow roll from hell, a 100% block sheild and shrugs off damage. Try unequipping gear, or using light armor; it's all about quick dodging, much closer to Bloodborne than the knight/heavy armor builds.

THIS GAME IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH $5 GET IT NAO!
I would pay $30 for this any day, too. Took me 21 hours to complete, but they were GOLDEN.
I do think I will replay this, due to changing story elements and choices and variety of combat.

IMHO, this is the highest quality Soulsborne game to date.

This is a fantastically animated Contra-inspired Co-op sidescrolling shooter! It even has online AND local 4 player!
I haven't delved too far into it, but from what I can see, everything is high quality, high effort stuff.
Art and music is top notch!

It is a blast to play with a friend! Xbox controllers supported!
I got it for like 25 cents, but I would say it's worth a few dollars at least.

This is a very hard, but very rewarding, gothic, cthullu-mythos-themed platformer, with great music!
Controls are tight, like Super Meat Boy.
There's light combat, well executued.
The levels are rough, but fair!
Def worth a few bucks

I've beaten all the main endings (34 hrs) and while this game has a long, intricate story, you will need to do some digging to understand much of it.

This is a 3d sword-swinging action game, and the combat is fast and fun. Could use more combos, and variation of weapon animations. The shooting aspect of combat makes the game feel at times like an old school shooter, which the game turns into at times!
Many interesting uses of camera perspective change how fights feel, and the combat in general.

The music in this game is phenomenal!!! I hear songs from game in my head when looking at pretty views on nice days.
The graphics are sharp, and the art is pretty great as well. Voice acting is well done!

The world is intersting enough that I did a few side quests, and for the most part they are not fun or worth it (except for a few very short "secret endings", I'd just youtube em)
So my playthrough would be longer except it just wasn't much fun to keep running through same areas. There is variation in enemies, but not design or art, if that makes sense.

The bosses are creative and fun! Lots of neat attacks! Some are awe-inspiring even. There are a lot more after beating 9S storyline (which is a rehash of 1st part cut much shorter)
that they probably shouldn't have hid behind what appears to be a very similiar 2nd half of story. I bet many people will stop before seeing the end of this game.

Another thing that is stupid (other than sprinkles of random items strewn about) is the difficulty: Normal is too easy, and Hard is too hard. I switched between them often (you always can) but basically cheap, frustrating 1-shot deaths come way too often on hard. And normal with any sort of items and good chips is super easy. So balancing issues exist.

And while the story in this game is wierd and intersting, just too much of what's needed to really understand is in other, older games we're likley to miss as an audience.

Not very far in, but holy crap this game is awesome. The music in the first town is beautiful. The art in this game is really nice, and lots of smart references.

This is a smart, creative puzzle platforming game. You change the perspective, and the world changes.
It's a charming world, too.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH $2 buy it now enjoy it later esp with a ladyfriend or manfriend.

THE ASTRONAUT ONE IS SICK!

If you like Dark Souls/Bloodborne, you'll like this.

The combat is similar, yet more intricate. Can target individual limbs, etc. Faster too.

Many visually unique weapons and armor, and a drone that can assist in cool ways, like an aoe frost slowdown, a magnet-pull, long range laser, and more.

Some bosses are VERY COOL, perfectly executed (FAIR) with many attacks and great animations (Google Firebug or Big Sister fight!!!)
Addendum: only 5 bosses in game, with 2-3 forms each, next one needs 3x more!

The levels inter-connect even better than Dark Souls - shortcuts are not behind one-way doors, or ladders needing to be lowered, but just well-hidden. You WILL feel silly when a huge shortcut was under your nose, ready to be used the whole time.

The enviorments have great atmosphere, darkness and lighting is used very well.
Could use some more visual variety in the levels and enemies, though.

Graphics are great, the game play is tight.
Lots of voice acting. Story was good, but the ending was sequel setup.
BET YOUR ASS I BUY THE SEQUEL THO!
