WWI is an awesome shooter concept:
Slow, but high damage bolt action rifles are common.
Forces you to improves your accuracy without much stress.
Semi automatic is a privilege, but not 1 shot kill every time like rifles.
Fully automatic is a total privilege, but makes you a sitting duck.
Map designs are glorious! Huuuuge and beautiful scenery with dynamic combat changes which you can opt between: close quarters in trenches and flanks for bayoneds and pistols or plain open field for rifles.

Isonzo is special game that naturaly introduces huge verticality to maps, which most games lack.

Excellent minimal game design. Surreal and agoraphobic enviroment. Liminal space even.
This game has the most realistic feel of falling down. The same feel of falling down in a dream. Something similar to pissing yourself, but not actually pissing. Changes the pressure in your stomach and that's something interesting to feel.
Like you are supposed to feel fear in horror games,
So you feel this cool uneasiness in stomach playing this weird game.
Highly recommend.
