If you are getting this for multiplayer; it's not ready for prime time. If you're here for solo play, you'll run into some bugs but overall have a good time.

To be clear multiplayer is okay IF everyone is online at the exact same time and you are doing every-single quest in a large group. Some quests will still not complete and be un-completeable until the server restarts. (specifically item gathering/chest finding quests). Story progression is server wide, and If you weren't there for that quest being completed you're SOL until the server restarts and the item respawns. This has led to many frustrating evenings helping others rerun quest lines to get the XP even though they were online when we completed it previously. Unfortunately there is no way to share maps at this time, so everyone has to explore the whole world themselves which is a pain with how large this map is. (I'd love to see something similiar to Valhiem's cartographer's table.). I tend to have to log out/in from the server at least once per play session to deal with a bug (from your enshrouded timer being stuck or taking damage from mining, etc) not the end of the world but it is immersion breaking.

The absolute refusal on the Dev's part to even barely support Modding is extremely frustrating as most of my issues could easily be fixed with simple mods. I truly hope they add even basic support for modders to keep the community alive long term.

Overall there are some things i've enjoyed as well, the building system is a fantastically fun and unique way of building that I'm immensely enjoying. The ability to build or subtract at a 1x1 block is amazing and allows for some truly intricate custom builds. The crafting system is also enjoyable and we have a large farm going for all the food/potion items. The combat system is fun, and the intricate skill tree has allowed our player group to play how each of us wants to play. Boss fights as a group are also a good time. The gliding system is verryyy fun, its awesome to see a whole group of players leap from a building and fly out. The lore is very deep and intricate, it's been fun finding tidbits as we explore the map. Lots of hidden side quests/etc.

TLDR; I like it, but because we are playing it mainly as a multiplayer game I have a lot of frustrations with it.

If you wished Rimworld had more depth this is it. Its a great game but def watch some basic tutorials to really have a good time. DF Hack is also supported now which is a must install.

Fun game, good tech tree. Needs a better tutorial, but once you get past that a lot of open world building fun. Looking forward to what else comes out during the early access period for this game!
