Each game has it's own flaws. 1 is sometimes clunky and rough around the edges, 2 has an obscure system that brings unwanted consequences to uninformed "choices" (uninformed as in impossible to know without having played beforehand or reading a guide), 3 has a drop in writing quality and cohesion...

Still one of the best game series of all time!

Sometimes it feels too "wide and shallow", which is a typical feature of Bethesda games. But the game is quite enjoyable overall.

I felt quite dissapointed when I tried it.

Very elegant and easy to understand mechanics for a perfect "coffee-break" game that can be played in short bursts,

It pains me to give a thumbs down, but this is not a very good implementation.

There's missing material (like the plain-text handouts which are provided with the pdf purchase); the NPC portraits show a spoilery frame indicating allegiances, and their description sections are empty, not even a link to the "dramatis personae" page referring to them.

Also, the Ref. Manual is locked; there are unlocked story entries but while these are great for dungeon organization, their lack of search capability makes them "not great" for this kind of campaign.

It's nice to have all the statblocks already implemented though, so if the price decreases it might become a good purchase.
